Furry Fandom and Drama General

Might need to create a thread for 2Gryphon soon because he is going full on sperg over this AC ban. Today he took a page out of the attention whore handbook and ended up in the hospital for being overworked (and as we all know, making YouTube videos can be VERY Stressful) and malnourished.

2 Gryphon was recently informed by Anthrocon, who formerly featured him as a performer, that he would not be receiving stage time this year. He was not banned from attending the convention, but he was told he wouldn't be performing at it.

He's taken the news about as well as you'd expect. (And yes, I'd be down with a thread on him.)

Question: Was he IN his furry suit when he passed out. I might train to be an EMT and I could not imagine having to rush a guy in a fucking bunny suit to the hospital :D :D

Oh an a side note I heard that some furries have animal suits with no zippers so they are locked in their suit is that true I MUST KNOW! :D :D
 
On to 2 Gryphon ive heard of people being hospitalized for these things before but generally homeless or professionals ( who lost track of time with lots of deadline ie lawyers and doctors pulling 100 + hpur weeks for a month or two ) it seems bad that a furry performer( I'm assuming not dead broke)get that . Also I wonder if he was suited when the EMTs came for him

me too! it must have been quite a bizzzarre scene at the airport if he was passed out in his suit. NEWS HEADLINE the easter bunny collapses from overwork :D :D :D

As far as I'm aware, 2 Gryphon doesn't own a fursuit and has never worn one. He collapsed in a Denver airport and presumably was taken directly to the hospital from there. 2's not destitute but he's nowhere near as popular as he used to be in the fandom, for his sake I'd hope gigs weren't his bread and butter; his website hasn't been updated since 2012.

People collapse or pass out in fursuits all the time because they're fucking idiots and don't hydrate properly. I don't actually know how paramedics get someone out of one though. I'd imagine in the case of a violent accident they'd just cut the person out of the suit like they do with clothing (with blood in the picture I doubt the suit would be salvageable anyways).

Yeah apparently they're supposed to have spotters and shit, of course to have a spotter you need to have irl friends so a lot of them are screwed with that

For real EMTs should train to evacuate a furry to the hospital :) :) :)
