Dreads are often the to go way of being lazy with your hair. As a blackie myself it's also a more easier way of not doing your hair or cleaning it. Hence why people say, people with dreads are stinky.

I think it's less that she has a lazy eye and more that her eyes are in two hemispheres.
Not to be that guy but lazy eyes can be more subtle, she does look like she has a lazy eye but it just isn't much of one. It looks like you would probably only be able to tell from certain angles, she has probably figured out which ones show it less. She probably has this issue but it is very minimal and actually causes her very few problems in life, she is simply playing it up for pity points.
