The Democrats have broken a sizable chunk of their base with hyperbolic Trump Nazi, Orange man bad rhetoric for 10 years now. The people who have bought it all and think Biden was great on the economy, and 'Trumps 2 days away from putting you in camps' were living on a completely different reality from not just republicans or MAGA, but the general public who can put 2 and 2 together.
Their counter-strategy of just having one corrupt judge assign every case to themselves is bold; I'll give them that.
