The silence from people who are (in theory) on her side, like fellow journoscum or breadtubers, is deafening. The only people defending Alyssa are the same 6 or 7 recurring simps, no matter how hard she cries about her plights. While I don't disagree with this, I feel that Alyssa doesn't really care as much about the particulars of this lawsuit as she does about being famous and the center of a new Gamergate-level event. This is a person who decided to start her master's dissertation with a Gamergate loredump, mostly unrelated to its topic. A person who felt that the very first thing the judge should read about in her amended complaint was the existence of Gamergate, despite her having nothing to do with it. Somebody who started an Elden Ring DLC review drawing a parallel between it and her life as gaming's bravest soldier.

She's obsessed with her romanticized version of a controversy most people have forgotten about, and other famous stories of fame gained through victimhood. She had been obsessed before she was a writer. At the end of the day, she doesn't care about lawsuits, censoring criticism, money, culture, or videogames. Those are means to an end: her "rising star" as the biggest victim in the whole world. It's all about weapons-grade narcissism; that's why she can't help reading her own thread or having a meltdown when @CODcuntmaster1987 talks shit about her ass, while ignoring people arguing in good faith. The fact that her tunnel vision blinds her from seeing how outdated and ineffective her tactics are just adds to the fun of observing her as a specimen.
