It's a shame that they've ruined retro aesthetics, as I am a fan of low-poly and pixel art. Now, if I see someone who's obsessed with those artstyles, it's almost always a troon.

Especially since they don't actually use it in a transformative "look at how much I can do with these limitations" way, they just use it as a way to be lazy with art and claim the laziness/ugliness is "on purpose".

Reminds me of the "TERF is not punk" stuff I always see from this side. I wonder if we live in the same world as them. One where the establishment doesn't change their social media profile pictures in support of them, one where Target doesn't put out special clothes for them, one where institutions don't mandate their inclusion in sports. Punk these days is basically a type of music and not a major counterculture movement like it was in decades past. Replaced by emos, which are now replaced by metal-heads and goths. Sure I've seen a few people who I'd consider "punk" but its not a major movement like it was in decades past. I imagine its probably to do with the tranny obsession to be the "alt/metal/punk/goth gf" because that's the type of woman they wanted to date but were harshly turned down by them, probably for being weird and smelling.
