Why some people just can't accept communism doesn't work I'll never understand. Capitalism has flaws but no one's come up with anything better.
Most countries have a mixed economy with socialized programs and a healthy private sector. Either extreme creates massive problems. I personally believe that humans by nature are motivated by greed regardless of what type of economic system is in place.

Because it would work… if only those pesky humans weren’t there to ruin it.

A lot of liberals I’ve dealt with IRL ascribe to “perfect-world thinking” in the sense they never consider the idea anything could go wrong. The sheer idea of communism not being a perfect utopia where every individual plays their exact part, or a biological man entering the women’s bathroom for anything untoward, or an illegal crossing the border for illegal activity is basically unthinkable to them. It wouldn’t be how they would do things, so clearly it won’t happen, effectively.
I'm not even that surprised anymore. Oddly enough, even back when I was idealistic and had fairly liberal ideas, I still had boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. Where in the hell did these freaks come from?

The excuse is always "GEE IMAGINE IF ALL THEIR MATERIAL CONDITIONS WERE MET THEN THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO [Insert any shitty human behavior here] ! BUT NO, LETS KEEP DOING THE CAPITALISM THING BECAUSE ITS WORKING SO WELL YOU FUCKING GHOUL OF A NAZI HUMAN!"

Mine was when I was told in no uncertain terms that my questioning of trannys giving children as young as 8 hormones was nazi behavior and I should just accept that kind of thing because anything else is violence against transpeople. And to expect a baseball bat across the head if I keep asking those kind of questions.

It was that day that I decided maybe I should throw my weight against the pendulum the other way.

Sorry for being a retard, I'm sure the answer is somewhere in this thread. Is there actually a picture of the tatt? All I can find is the one where there's an added M S 1 3 in a photo editor. Is there another photo or do the other tatts represent MS13?

It's one of those things I see mentioned but I can't actually seem to verify if he has the tatt or not.
No they are going out of their way to censor his knuckles in both offical photos and social media posts.
If it they aren't MS-13 gang tattoos than why the fuck was his wife hiding them in her social media pictures of both of them?

I think believing that any person can be innately flawed undermines the progressive worldview. A 'bad person' implies the existence of a 'good person' which implies a hierarchy which implies oppression being natural, morally neutral, and sometimes necessary. Of course this grace doesn't apply to nazis who are ontologically evil avatars of the eldritch entity Privilege.

Trump just ended his University of Alabama commencement speech with "The next chapter of the American story will not be written by the Harvard Crimson, it will be written by you, THE CRIMSON TIDE!"
I thought that was rather clever. If you look at what's going on, you know, they get their FIVE BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR...that is not going to be so forthcoming. Now, wasn't that a clever one though? Now, who would think of that? [points to self]

The amount of long-term damage Star Trek has done by implanting the idea of matter replicators into the general zeitgeist cannot be overstated.

NO THE LINE MUST ALWAYS GO UP
MUH 4OK LINE MUST ALWAYS GO UP.
Just how many more years do we have to put up with boomers, anyway? It can't be that much longer.

Just imagine how pissed they're gonna be if the Transhumanists are right and 2030, 2035, 2045ish we start perfecting life extension shit... just a little too late for those eternally selfish fucks to enjoy it. We can all smile down at them as we sip our Pina Coladas created by Star Trek Replicator type shit in 2077, enjoying that cyberpunk future we tore out of their decrepit hands with fucking crowbars.

No one wants communism, they want post-scarcity. Even capitalists want post-scarcity. Almost every socialist wet dream I've ever dove into isn't actually socialism, it's ancap post-scarcity or somesuch. But only people stupid enough to fall for Marx's bullshit think they can just clap their hands and wish real hard and magic free shit fairies will fulfill all their basic needs, so...

This looks about as authentic as the half dozen or so emails I get a week telling me I have unpaid toll booth charges and if I do not immediately send $3764.56 in BTC to [Local.policejuristiction] at the below indicated wallet by sundown, I will be put behind the bars.
My high score atm is 11k or so in unpaid toll booth charges if the texts random numbers send me are anything to go by.

Its all this fuckin "societal construct" reddit-isms shit that give these people retarded notions like that. They want to tear down stuff for the sake of tearing it down, because with it's deconstruction the issue is resolved because it was just societal and we destroyed society so its gone now.

That and maybe a peppering of the noble savage type shit.

Eternally because Boomers and their shitty fucking trash "We know everything and are in post history, nothing will ever change from the 90s when we were at our peak of power" ideas have perpetually infected everything.

they want post-scarcity.
There is no such thing as post scarcity..we just change what is scare.

Unless the Boomers manage to make it to the point that we cure aging, they have an expiration date.

Checking in on it:

That's a complex question because lifespan varies significantly based on health, lifestyle, medical advancements, and other factors. However, if we consider average life expectancy trends:
- In the U.S., the average life expectancy is around 76 years.
- The oldest Boomers, born in 1946, would reach that age by around 2022—though many live well beyond that.
- The youngest Boomers, born in 1964, would reach 76 years old by 2040.

So, if we go by averages, most Boomers may have passed by 2040 to 2050, but many will live much longer, especially with advancements in healthcare and longevity research. It's possible that some Boomers could still be around well into the 2060s or beyond.

Oh, shit. We have another 20-40 years of Boomers running around ruining literally everything to try and make the line go up so they can keep ahold of the reins of power just one more day. And that puts them right in the middle of when the Transhumanist weirdos think longevity research is really going to start taking off.

Our only hope is that the younger generations just get tired of living without so the boomers can live beyond their means.

There is no such thing as post scarcity..we just change what is scare.
That's one way to look at it. But if a lot of the "needs" are so unscarce that you don't have to worry about them anymore, that changes the equation. Matter replicators are probably not happening, but, more advanced 3d Printers printing foodstuffs or consumer goods? Maybe.

Personally the second I can hit up Full Dive VR I'm disappearing into Asheron's Call 3 and the Kiwi Farms's VR node and you won't see me for a few decades.
