There definitely have been Israeli-Arabs/East Jerusalem residents/Palestinians attempting to start more fires, but there is (as of now) zero indication the original wildfires were due to arson. It was extremely hot and windy yesterday, and the wildfires were all in Jewish areas because that's where the forests are.
You seem to be using this as a catch-all term to describe Arabs who live in the region but are not Israeli citizens.

I use Israeli-Arabs to refer to Israeli citizens who are Arab. When referring to Arabs who aren't Israelis, I'll denote the location for them, such as Lebanese or Jordanian or something. The only exception is when I reference "Palestinian" because I don't recognize "Palestine" as a real place.
There's a name for that -- where you know the press deliberately lies and misleads on a subject for which you have expertise, but you still instantly trust them about everything for which you don't despite that -- but I'm damned if I can find it right now. But yeah, just about everybody has it.
