Excellent post. FWIW I don't think Ian lacks empathy at all, he's just a retard who got caught up in modern therapy talk. He made his Content Cops and accurately pointed out what those creators were doing that was wrong or hurting others, he's not smooth enough to have faked all that. He may be socially and emotionally stunted but that doesn't make him a psychopath. The only person I see showing no empathy at all in this whole shitshow is Anisa. Some have argued that BPD is just female psychopathy. Although I don't think that quite matches up, it's something to think about.

I am more inclined to think Anisa has NPD, with BPD being a secondary possibility. Narcissism seems far more likely than BPD due to her family dynamics. BPD typically involves intense emotional outbursts, but the fact that her family reached out to Sam Hyde suggests a serious malicious streak we are not aware of. Her M.O. aligns more with narcissism than BPD. Her constant need to be the center of attention, making people miserable, isolating Ian from others, and lowering his self-esteem are hallmark narcissistic traits.

As for Ian, labeling him a psychopath, sociopath, or narcissist gives him too much credit. I too believe he’s more likely a socially stunted man. I thought it was already common knowledge, but let's break it down.

Ian was a fairly normal person by all accounts who was an edgy YouTuber. He was probably a shit person back then too but he did not lack empathy, he was relatively normal.
