They co-occur so frequently I'm not even convinced they are really different aside from the very specific fear of abandonment on the BPD side of things. Narcs are emotionally volatile, too, they just have a measure of control and unleash when they think it will be beneficial to them, and BPDs lack forethought so that can give them the appearance of being less manipulative in that regard. IMO they're the same sundae just with different color sprinkles. That’s not what I said. I clearly stated that BPD was a second close possibility. I never said BPDs are blameless saints. I have no idea how you read that as “BPD’s can’t be malicious”.
The context was more about why her close family seemed to be wary of her. Her family’s wariness, as they told Sam Hyde, suggests she’s more self-serving than emotionally volatile. Such as her using her father as a prop without remorse.
I am analyzing her behavior with everyone not just Ian.
Who says I don’t?
In any case. Anisa doesn’t seem to have fear of abandonment actually. Which is the main element in BPD. She has consistently been described as monkey branching and abandoning relationships on her own accord out of pure convenience. Her whole saga with Zoie Burgher for example. She abandoned her previous boyfriend to be with Ian without warning. That would be very difficult for a true BPD to do.
Far from absolving her from guilt, I think she is malicious in a very specific way.
