ATTENTION
Special rules for the Destiny thread.
  • Don't engage footsoldiers. Whiteknights do not need 100 responses to every bait post; exercise restraint. Do not give attention to people who join and bomb the thread with negative reactions.
  • Practice harm reduction. Read our prudent poster's guide.
  • Don't write open letters to Destiny. It is very annoying attention seeking behavior. Just write normal posts.

I'm an hour & fifteen minutes into this debate and I've just realized something, this is the first actual conversation between an SJW and a Gamergater I've ever witnessed. One is actually trying to convince the other. They're going toe to toe, but Steve is being backed into a corner. He's been having to constantly jump ship with every new scenario he pulls out of his ass & was even trumped by one from Metokur comparing doors on a house to Trump's wall.

My favorite part was when he kept insisting that the United States should use their resources to improve Mexico's economy rather than close it off, on the premise that the wall would have innumerable workarounds & that giving a handout to Mexico would deincentivize criminals & refugees from crossing the border. Now, anybody who knows anything about Mexico's corrupt government would know that they'd just take the money & go about business as usual. I'm surprised this never came up.

Metokur does deflate it with effect though, stating that a wall would continue standing where Mexico could slope back into their current status of being a shithole by comparing it to the things the U.S. has done in the Middle-East.

It really doesn't help Steve's case that he keeps insisting that illegal immigrants aren't criminals by nitpicking the semantics of Trump's remarks, which is pretty backwards for nitpicking. Metokur keeps having to point out that crossing the border illegally makes them criminals by default, all the while Steve continues to fail to simply convey that he views a conflation between border crossing & murder as either a false equivalency or a snowball fallacy, which would still be a strawman of what Trump said no matter how succinctly he put it, but I digress.

Speaking of the innumerable workarounds, I'm surprised the point was never made that flying into the country, digging under a wall or taking a boat around it would all be much more difficult and limiting than simply crossing it on foot. It's as if Steve is under the impression that boats and plane tickets are easy to come by for poor, impoverished people. Just because it can't provide a 100% prevention guarantee doesn't mean it can't provide a decent bottleneck.

Then again, I can't blame Metokur for anything he did in this stream considering his nanosecond bursts of airtime.

So I've resumed the debate from the hour & fifteen minute mark and Steve is debating in favor for sexism & racism with no attempt to veil it, distort it, hide it or weasel word away that he, as a liberal, is in support of racism & sexism if your argument is good enough. I feel like I'm living in Bizarro World. He even tried to argue that sexism can't be wrong if we're willing to accept sexual preference, because being either straight or gay is sexist.

I love how he and people like him keep acting guilty over being white and how they treat minorities like they're helpless children who can't think for themselves.

In some ways, I can't help but feel that's a more racist way of thinking than what they project onto their opponents. At least with traditional racists, they're more blunt and honest with their prejudice. People like this guy just seem to have a messiah complex and view others as lesser beings.

wanna know for future refrence

Whew, lads. An awful lot of butt-hurt people in here who like to think they have all the answers. I'm sorry one streamer made JonTron spout his borderline white supremacist ideals.

Do you know what species of animal isn't capable of making decisions and are fuelled to a huge degree by their environments? Humans!

This video demonstrates a concise view on the philosophical idea of 'Determinism', the current thinking on it, and how it is an ironclad argument in philosophical circles. It's often pitted against Liberterian Free Will, and the latter often fails under intense scrutiny, where Determinism does not.

So, what is it? Everything any human does is determined, same as the matter and energy that swirls about the universe. We are all on our respective courses as is dictated by the matter and energy in our brains - the neurons that fire in different areas command us to act in certain ways as dictated by a combination of factors.. and that feeling of 'being free'? That we are making our own choices? That, to, is just another thing our bodies produce to keep us acting in certain ways, made up of a series of environmental and historical patterns we've been witness to. Afterall, we're just animals. We're just highly complex ones.

What does all this nonsense have to do with Destiny? Well- it's simple. One of the foundations of current leftwing political thinking is very deterministic in nature. I.e., if we set people up to fail, they will continue failing.. therefore the best way to help people is to build them up as we're able (through social welfare programs and the like) so that they're less likely to fail.

Unfortunately, society has set up the black population of America to fail in the past. In the very recent past, no less. Americans bought them as slaves, bred them for obedience, regarded them as less than people, and when they were eventually freed - they still faced constant scrutiny, hatred, and prejudice, and still do to this day. Society, unfortunately, does not fix itself quickly; it takes generations and generations for large groups of people to break out of a cycle. Left-wing politics likes to ask, "Is there any way we can speed this process up?" and tries to apply social sciences to this problem. They often work, but sometimes fail.

Long story short? I think the view that we (leftists) regard black people as 'children' is a very simplistic angle to take, a strawman you've built up that you're immolating before our very eyes. The truth is that we think humankind as a whole is unfortunately quite predictable, and sections of us can get stuck in cyclical states and may need a boost in the form of policy-making.

Here's the recorded stream for anyone who missed it.

28:35 Destiny is rendered speechless. (Is this what you were talking about, @Jaimas?)

That's the one. Completely wrecked his entire attack vector. It's great.

I actually think by debating Jon this guy completely shot himself in the foot. Sure, Jon came off worse in the debate, but since Jon has such a large fanbase it's thrown the spotlight onto Destiny in a way it wasn't there before and it's caused people to dig a little deeper on him.

I mean, Mister Metokur has fans too, but they're less numerous and he's more of a niche guy. Plus he trounced Destiny so they had no reason to worry.

Less than 2 days after the Destiny mass-subscriber drop-off, and Jon's still got about 3000 more subscribers than he had 2 weeks ago. With a subscriber count of over three million. Destiny, meanwhile, has gained about 4000 - but with a subscribership of around 55,000 after the dust settled.

Jon took no damage whatsoever. Destiny got a bit of a buff in coverage but it's already tapered off.

Unfortunately, there's no way I could provide sources for all of the things I said. He basically lives his whole life on his stream so there are countless hours to sift through and as far as I know Twitch deletes content after like a month. But I'll try to source what I can.

1. He used to get into actual fist fights with his ex-wife
> NO SOURCE but he has talked about this multiple times on his stream and even showed property damage done to his house as a result of these fights
2. He has an accidental son with said ex-wife
> I don't want to put his kid up on this site but he does have a son named Nathan who is at like 5 already way funnier than his dad
3. He used his quasi e-fame to get a fangirl to send him nudes then shared them with friends/fans and laughed at how ugly she was. Then when she posted his dick pics he went ballistic and tried to get her fired from her job and tried to get her financial aid and scholarships removed and ultimately tried to spin the whole thing to say she was the one in the wrong and the only thing he did wrong was call her ugly
> https://www.reddit.com/r/ShitReddit...ortpost_starcraft_2_player_steve_bonnell_aka/
4. Despite sharing a girls nudes he later lambasted legitimately autistic gamer XJ9 for doing the same thing, literally spending hours criticizing him on stream
> MightyBiteySnake linked part 1 of the 14 part series
5. Had awful sex with porn star Mia Rose (thereby contracting at least herpes)
> http://i.imgur.com/8pXBM3D.jpg It might be a bit blurry but that's drunken Destiny groping Mia Rose's tits. Them having bad sex is another thing that he talked about on stream with the vods likely being deleted by now. And all pornstars have herpes so after fucking one so does Destiny
6. IDK just how much of a SJW he is now but he would always say 'nigger' and 'faggot' and any other 'problematic' words SJWs would crucify someone for
> Apparently within the last month he was banned from Twitch for saying nigger
however it's clear he's saying it sort of 'in character' so it's somewhat understandable but if you google 'Destiny nigger' you get multiple discussions revolving around him saying nigger throughout the years. He was also kicked off a SC2 team for calling someone a gook https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/t6i9v/destiny_and_quantic_parting_ways/ admitting to "bigot/racist/hateful/nazi/apocalyptic" speech while deflecting blame and saying that getting fired was his decision
7. Dedicated a year or so of his stream to the election, constantly running his mouth how Trump would be crushed and how Trump supporters would rage and/or kill themselves. Then as soon as Trump won he banned all political talk from his chat/reddit and banned anyone who said anything about Trump all the while he continued to talk about Trump.
> Obviously I can't post an entire years worth of vods that have already been deleted so no real source here. This was pretty much when I stopped watching because whenever I opened the stream it was him sitting in silence just listening to a debate and interjecting every now and then to whine about Trump. B4 election https://twitter.com/OmniDestiny/status/795826887599779844 he deleted the tweet saying he's banning all politcal talk but shortly after posted this https://twitter.com/OmniDestiny/status/797597443785375747 which is his excuse for banning all political talk despite the fact he's been non-stop talking about politics before the election and after
8. Months before the election he made a bet with a viewer over the election and after he lost the bet, Destiny refused to pay the fifty dollars he owed, with his excuse being "If I had won the other guy probably wouldn't have payed me." so attacking the guy and accusing the guy of potentially doing what he was definitely doing
> https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/co...letes_thread_about_welching_on_a_bet/damylof/ Destiny admitting to welching on bet
9. Was friends with the guy who everyone (including Destiny) knew was the biggest scumbag in the SC2 scene and only stopped being friends with him when he was shitty to Destiny
>
Two hours of how awful Destiny's friend is straight from Destiny's mouth. I believe this also delves into #17
10. Actively tries to eliminate fans that aren't total sycophants from his fanbase
> https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/co..._welches_on_bet_with_trump_supporter/dalttu3/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/co..._welches_on_bet_with_trump_supporter/damimea/ talking about banning anyone he thinks is from r/trump
11. Unironically refers to his chat as 'A bastion of free speech' despite IP banning viewers for saying the slightest thing he doesn't like
>
12. Plays games for a living but is embarrassingly terrible at them but still thinks he's in the top 1% of gamers as far as skill goes
> Just watch him play anything other than SC2
13. Had a birthday stream to raise money to fix his roof with one of the rewards for raising enough money being him playing Chrono Trigger, despite raising the amount he never played what he was payed to play
> https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/comments/2oymxp/birthday_strim_ideas/
14. Participated in a 24 hour charity with another streamer who was much bigger than him to raise $20,000 or so, and now brings it up all the time whilst usually saying something about how he doesn't talk about it a lot because he's just such a humble and generous guy despite the fact that it was mostly the other guys viewers who raised the money and only slightly Destiny's viewers and not Destiny himself at all
> Another one thats's hard to source cuz it's just something he mentions from time to time. If you can get his attention and say anything even remotely questioning if he's a good person, he will immediatly bring this up. https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/l7rb2/shethdestiny_doctors_without_borders/ here he is talking about it and though the other guy has faded into obscurity, at the time he was bigger than Destiny and was the super nice type who would attract generous fans while Destiny is an asshole whose fans would be more likely to sabatoge the event than give money to it
15. Is 5'5" and like 130 lbs of fat and bones with a five inch penis that he assures you is six and a half inches
> https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7GKhQ6IAAAbYqM.jpg the girl next to him as I recall is very short and while I can't find the unaltered picture of his dick there is this http://i.imgur.com/KSEBowL.jpg a SC2 character photoshoped in place of his dick. 100% of his sycophants will have the original picture as their desktop and will be able to supply it to you in 2.5 seconds should you ask, but I'm not going out of my way to find his puny dick. Just know that if you find that pic unaltered it's the real picture of his dick
16. Says he would prefer to date someone who didn't know who he was beforhand (cuz he's soooo famous) yet only dates fangirls, one ex being a literal SC2 groupie
>
somewhere in this video (I'm not watching 45 minutes to find out where (but you should it's a good video that showcases how fucking stupid and autistic Destiny is)) he mentions wanting a girl that doesn't know who he is before hand. However his last two girlfriends (the first of which he got back together with after breaking up with the second) both met him at SC2 events or something similar
17. After he and said groupie had a really bad break up she immediately (like immediately, like before she had even moved out) started dating his arch rival (who is also autistic btw) who later got into a fight with her after she flew to Swedanistan to be with him and kicked her out, so Cuckstiny agreed to buy her a plane ticket back to America
> See #9

Like I said a lot of the shit he does is hard to source because there is just so much content to sift through, he loves to run his mouth and has spent the last like six years of his life entirely on stream, and one of the streaming services he used for over a year was owned.com I believe and it shut down years ago, and in the process fucking Destiny out of $20,000.

Well, that didn't take long. 8 pages in and Hitler brings us the dick pics.

Predictable huh?

Donald Trump winning the election kinda flies against that don't you think? Everyone expected Hillary to win and against all odds, the guy painted as the big boogeyman takes the win.

I get that there are people who are disadvantaged and should be provided opportunities to succeed. Again though, treating them like they can't think for themselves is condescending and just serves to divide us even more.
