I wouldn't go that far (I hear that French card based notJRPG is a strong contender) but it has reminded the industry that there is a very fierce hunger for actual RPGs in the west, and not "start naked punch tree get wood make club build house out of imitation Fortnite legos" style "Survival MMORPGs."So, remaster is GOTY 2025?
We're barely five months in, I know standards are low but cmonSo, remaster is GOTY 2025?

Is TES Online worth trying out if I just want to romp around the open world exploring shit? Does it do any amount of justice to the crazier lore? I like the Khajiit and it pisses me off that an MMO is the only game in the series that depicts the different furstocks.
Dunno fam, I've not read every page of the thread. But then I was talking more about the state of pop culture and zoomer literature.
Isn't this literally what I just said?
Why are you putting remaster in quotes when the Oblivion Remaster not only qualifies as a remaster, but actually goes beyond the definition by changing the game? Ever played the Assassin's Creed, Age of Empires, or Baldur's Gate remasters? Hell, most remasters are just graphical updates and change literally nothing about the gameplay—unlike this one. It just seems like you’re a retard confusing a remaster with a remake. This doesn't make any sense. The problem is that a game with the bugs and performance of 2006 Oblivion is unexceptable for a 2025 release. It would be one thing if it was just a resolution improvement with some other overall patches, but they've reskinned the game entirely to look as if it's actually a brand new game without fixing the bugs. People accepted Oblivion the way it was in 2006 because it had so much going on with it besides the bugs even if it didn't look the best (faces are the only things that look bad on the og Oblivion, everything else looked fine for the time). It was a reasonably ambitious game for 2006 and people respected it even if it wasn't perfect, the game is much less ambitious as a 2025 game when it still has all the same issues and bugs. It's not the og Oblivion's fault that none of it's problems were fixed in a "remaster" that's supposed to modernize the game. It's not that "the issue is it's Oblivion", the issue is that the team behind this "remaster" put in the bare minimum amount of effort into actually improving the game and they instead went out of their way to make everything look hideous and shit stained. What they did is turn Oblivion into a Frankenstein's monster of a game that only people with Frankenstein radio controls in their brains can enjoy.
I just think the anger all comes from the price tag, the gender shit and the file size. If it was just overtuned UE5 visuals I think people would be insulting it more affectionately. After all, I love how terrible everyone looks, it's hilarious. But there's no way in hell I'm paying fifty bucks for a 250 gigabyte game. Hell, I might even pay the full fifty if the game wasn't 120 gigs I at least expect video game re-releases to be full price. I might even forgive changing the Cliff Racer song if it wasn't 120 gigs. But it is 120 gigs and even higher def visuals are no justification for that level of bloat. Why are you putting remaster in quotes when the Oblivion Remaster not only qualifies as a remaster but actually goes beyond the definition by changing the game? the worst part is that they haven't remastered asscreed 1 and 2 with a skip cutscene button, they only remastered one of the worst AC's released.Ever played the Assassin's Creed ... remasters? no one is asking to pay anything, what the fuck are you going on about?I just think the anger all comes from the price tag, the gender shit and the file size. We've known people have wanted a proper Elder Scrolls sequel since 2011, everyone is just too retarded to make one, Bethesda included.I wouldn't go that far (I hear that French card based notJRPG is a strong contender) but it has reminded the industry that there is a very fierce hunger for actual RPGs in the west, and not "start naked punch tree get wood make club build house out of imitation Fortnite legos" style "Survival MMORPGs."
I don't know why you're confused. I was under the impression the price was a point of contention, with even sailors of the seven seas mocking it.no one is asking to pay anything, what the fuck are you going on about?
the guy you are quoting is talking about the other retard bumbling about his words.I don't know why you're confused. I was under the impression the price was a point of contention, with even sailors of the seven seas mocking it.
That being said I wouldn't pirate the game either because it's 120 gigabytes.
after skyrim's success as the most moddable game outside minecraft, what do you think bethesda can do under micro$hart? FO76 being made by zenimax still got jeethesda under flak and there's jeetfield...We've known people have wanted a proper Elder Scrolls sequel since 2011, everyone is just too retarded to make one, Bethesda included.
It's more bang for your buck, goy. If anything they should charge more according to size! But there's no way in hell I'm paying fifty bucks for a 250 gigabyte game.
Way to ignore the point I was making to complain about quotation marks and change the subject lol. I put "remaster" in quotation marks because the point I was making is that they did the bare minimum to "remaster" the game and actually made it worse than it was before in every way. Worse visuals, worse performance, more bugs, more crashes, gender propaganda, fucking 130GB. You were never going to take any criticism about this game seriously anyway because your mind was made up before you even played the shit, you just want your hecking Elder Scrolls game, quality be damned. Why are you putting remaster in quotes when the Oblivion Remaster not only qualifies as a remaster, but actually goes beyond the definition by changing the game? Edit: I’m not saying Todd shouldn’t have done more to fix the issues. I’m just pointing out that arguing it’s not a remaster makes you look retarded, and no one is going to take your complaints seriously.
Okay? It was meant to be more generalized, explaining why retarded faggots might go in search of petty reasons to be upset or take issue with details that might otherwise be considered irrelevant out of spite. I doubt there would be nearly as many comments about the communist frankenstein brain-controlled niggercattle if it was 19.99 and 20-30 gigs.the guy you are quoting is talking about the other retard bumbling about his words.
not a single mention of payment from him, you retarded nigger.
Oy vey I can't believe Bethesda released a 120 gigabyte game. How am I gonna fit all 125 gigabytes onto my computer? Video games should really be smaller than 130 gigabytes.fucking 130GB.
There are troons competing in the oppression olympics that believe the reason games are so big is so you can only have a few at a time installed. Most of them have 250GB SSDs, so they believe the rest of the world does as well.Oy vey I can't believe Bethesda released a 120 gigabyte game. How am I gonna fit all 125 gigabytes onto my computer? For some reason I remember Home of the Nords being an independent project separate from TR and PT. Maybe that was the case at one point and they decided to merge together for the sake of convenience or I just don't know what I'm talking about.
This isn’t the case at all, Tamriel Rebuilt and the Project Tamriel mods (Skyrim, Cyrodiil, etc.) have heavy developer overlap with TR and both projects are developed with their respective sister project in mind, they even share the same asset repository (Tamriel_Data). That’s why both Skyrim and Cyrodiil started the development on the western edges of the provinces that don’t border Morrowind, because by not starting there TR has the freedom to shape the Morrowind side of the border how they want and thus not causing issues that might happen if PT designed that border region way beforehand.from a glance it seems like different people just realized they had similar ideas of expanding the game morrowind using pre-oblivion post-daggerfall lore with some ideas from both those sources still so i guess they just list them on sites together because why not, keeps it from one team trying to make the whole continent.
If you want an actual response Fitgirl has a repack that brings it down to 80ish gbThere are troons competing in the oppression olympics that believe the reason games are so big is so you can only have a few at a time installed. Yeah, but the actual install size is still the same. The optional content isn't much of a dent. It doesn't matter, though. 120GB is like 20 minutes or less to download and no space. If you want an actual response Fitgirl has a repack that brings it down to 80ish gb
For you some people don't have good internet or terabytes of storage Todd are you going to tell them to stop being poor and live in Jeet filled cities Todd?Yeah, but the actual install size is still the same.
