I've been a viewer of his for a while, at least since the later end of his Starcraft II days, on and off as he played games I enjoy or do not enjoy. I hate League of Legends, so I hate watching him while he's playing it.

Anyhow. Destiny is honest. Brutally so. For good or ill, he will always tell you what's on his mind or be candid about moments in his past in an effort to analyse himself and his beliefs. Does he misspeak? Yes; he can't stand speaking slowly due to his autism-fueled brain, and it catches up with him. He never removes his own content, he has his entire history as one of the longest-lived streamers out there to bare and owns up to it. He enjoys discussing and thinking about extreme philosophical situations (i.e. the incest thing) as a way to test his views and logical consistency. Overall, he's simply interesting to observe.

But for real?... I know that watching him results in drama happening all the time. His pastime is poking at bees nests of people, and he doesn't seem to give a fuck what enemies he makes. So that's quality entertainment right there.

Im pretty sure almost anyone here could summarize why they like most things within one or two sentences, to write an entire paragraph about the nuances of why you think destiny / yourself is worth paying attention to then as I said, youre either destiny, or autistic.

For example, if someone asked me why I like Rick and Morty I would say: I think the timing is great and while humorous it touches on subtle intricacies of the human condition and experience.

I sure as fuck wouldn't write an entire paragraph describing every angle of approach.

He called someone PRIVILEGED for believing that there are blue-collar workers who are proud of their work, yet he decries protectionist policies cuz the cost of iPhone will go up.

Outside of his debates/discussions? There's not too much that I can really think of. I mean for all intents and purposes, he's fairly well adjusted, loves his kid and thinks the world of him, and gets along with his ex-wife - the one that he used to have fistfights with when he was living in squalor and trying to make ends meet.

Most of the cringe is from his past, or the present in the form of his debates and when he pokes an especially large hornets nest. But colour me biased, I don't think his debates are that cringy.

There was a post earlier in this thread that tried listing a bunch of stuff. I have knowledge on a lot of that and can corroborate/correct some of the points..

..but first, I need to sleep.
