A traumatic brain injury like that should be survivable if appropriate medical care is given swiftly. But those lock-up seizures are definite signs of a big brain booboo. Might not walk again, might become a serial killer, might become a CEO, you never know.

I know a paraplegic who used to play on a wheelchair basketball team. He tells a story of almost getting in a fight with another player who was an amputee. Apparently his buddies were yelling "Don't do it, he's got one leg! He's got one leg!" Sadly, this was long before cameras were common.
