I think everyone is reading way too far into this... Shitlips realized the case is in a downward spiral and he's lost what little control he had and is panicking. So he lied and made up a fake emergency meeting that just so happens to clash with the hearing in order to try and buy himself more time to come up with something to unfuck himself.

If the judge has any principles whatsoever, they will make it known to Russell Greer that he is, in fact, the plight.
The judge was willing to tard guard to some extent when Russ was just making things a pain for the other side. I think he's had it now that Russ is trying to fuck up HIS schedule, have hearings scheduled for weeks suddenly postponed based on literally no reason at all, "business meetings" that for all anyone knows are complete fabrications and he refuses to identify.

Possible. I also think it's possible he set aside a time to deal with the case, which explains the discovery request and the motion on almost the same day. I bet there's a reminder on his phone for April 30th marked "lawsuit #27 resume", so he didn't have to think about it before then.

Notice what he said in his emergency motion: "Plaintiff had this calendared for two months."
Notice what he didn't say: "Plaintiff has been preparing and researching for two months."

If I was trying to convince a judge I was really looking forward to a hearing, I might whine about all the work I was putting in before I was suddenly interrupted by big business deals. (It wouldn't have any legal significance, but that's never stopped Russ before.) However, if he hadn't done any work... I might flail around for anything in recent experience that I could stretch into a plausible reason. Greer remembers Hardin talking about doing other business, said "hey I have a business!" and jumped to that instead.

If the possible choices are "Russ did work on the case" or "Russ is wasting someone's time trying to buy a brothel", I'd believe the latter every time.

I can't think of him having any kind of "meeting" out in rural Nevada that wasn't in some way related to a brothel or a whore, but of course there are other holes out in the desert.

Judge: I'M what counts out here, not your fuckin business meetings or your FUCKIN BROTHELS!"

Probably my favorite part of the filing. He made sure to mention Hardin requesting and receiving extensions. Apparently there's a difference between proactively requesting an extension and frantically requesting an extension to a hearing, scheduled 2 months in advance, that's meant to resolve something like 10 different filings.

No idea if Russ doesn't understand the difference, or is knowingly trying to pull shit out of his ass, but anyone who deals with deadlines know the only way out of this situation involves death or injury. Though I guess he's demonstrated a habit of missing deadlines in court and faced no reprocrussions so I can't say I'm surprised from the lack of effort in his tarded hail mary. Guess we'll find out how committed Russ is to getting out of next week if his legs are mysteriously broken before then. (It'd be one of the coolest things he's done, TBH)

I think the Judge has pegged Russ as the lying little weasel that he is. The attempts (and successes) doing an end run around the Magistrate to the District Judge and attempting to cry to the 10th over ever more spurious reasons has got to have him pissed off. The Judges will tard guard the shear ignorant stupidity. But once they catch you lying to their face, repeatedly. They will not be happy with you.

Hardin will get some performative dressing down amounting to "please remember he's a retard" Just so he can maintain some illusion of impartiality while he bitch slaps the lying weasel. At least thats my 2c prediction. I don't think we will see anything case ending on Tuesday. Russ still has time to reply to the latest motion to dismiss. Unless the Judge opts to toss it all on his own for the IFP Pro Se Retard bullshit.

Sensible lawyers don't take bullshit like that personally because it's just insurance against claims of bias, especially when the really vexatious litigant has a history of doing exactly that.

Shitlips realized the case is in a downward spiral
I see the flaw in your reasoning. Shitlips rarely realizes such things.
I didn't see it mentioned(if it was, my apologies), but what would the consequence likely be if shitlips no shows? Generic sanctions? Null wins by default? Literally nothing?
That will be the magic question? The hearing will be cancelled. The Judge and Hardin can't really converse about the case beyond "does anybody think the retard is going to show up?".

I would assume the Judge can then rule on all the motions that have already had their responses filed or where the time to reply has already elapsed without any further delay.

My guess is it is up to the judge, but more sanctions might be likely if Greer ignores the denied motion and ghosts the hearing anyway.

Well yes. But we don't want to give Russel an itemized list of what the consequences of not showing up might be. Let's let him find that out for himself. It will be much more entertaining.

I'll throw my hat into the ring and go with the no show option, followed by a repeat of the Florida transfer incident where he cried about how he just assumed that his retarded continuance motion would be granted and that's why he didn't bother paying any more attention to the deadlines (which he will, of course, call excusable neglect.) Plightsperging will follow the fallout from his failure to appear.

Rusty would be lucky to get a loan for a car, let alone any kind of small business loan for a brothel.
In the past 12-18 months Russ has been
1. Sued for none payment from a Payday Loan Company
2. Had his car repo'd
3. Been evicted, kicking and screaming and suing, from his apartment. Leaving him living in his car.
That's what makes the IFP status thing so insane. He claims he has money. He claims he has cash up front for the things he wants to do. But otherwise he is seemingly a penniless pauper who can't get himself his penis sucked.
