tbf, the manji and swastika are actually the same symbol. Just that the swastika works in both directions, while the manji is considered only in one direction (rightwards). And given it's basically supposed to be the Bleach bankai sword, the context makes sense because religious symbolism and what-not.

What makes it shit specifically in this situation, is that apparently Hasan knows absolutely jack-shit about Bleach, and his whole point for choosing that sword was because it had the swastika on it. So it was definitely just "gonna trigger Ethan with this" rather than anything else, without even an idea of what the actual reasoning behind the swastika sword guard is. For clarity, apparently he bought it a few years ago at a convention, specifically referred to it as "sicker" (than the other Katanas) and in the same clip looked directly at the hilt, calling it "sus".
