Lol I forgot I used to watch Mad at the Internet. Completely forgot the OWNER OF THIS WEBSITE does his spergy little streams.
Actually they might be big spergy streams. He still gets over 1000 viewers, right?
A bit disappointing that when a whore has some issue every vtuber is in the replies moralfagging and giving support, but someone like Peo gets no support in the replies. So atleast we can give her some love if others won't.
Peo love

ohhh my god i didn't understand that Sleepy has joined Phase too. I am so dumb.
Fucking legendary pull, Fishman. Is Phase the true "TALENT FREEDOM" corpo?

So the Algorithm bounced this to me.

Meet Shirara Momo.

Joining the ranks of Yukinashita Peo, Teltel Flow and Hani Hima? We have another Japanese Vtuber who wants to court an EN audience. She's asked for 5k subs to begin prep work for a debut and she's already posted stuff to her shorts account and like most Japanese EN Vtubers, she comes off like a crack rock made out of pure sunshine. She made her 5k goal and so she seems like one worth keeping an eye on.

I'm thinking about Peo's fears about being isolated or not accepted, a lot of these types seem to have a hard time making connections. Hima has genmates because she joined V-Dere and Tetel only seems to collab with Nopi Tulpe. Perhaps the field is just a bit too thin?

Regardless, she seems likeable.

I think I figured out how fishman chooses who gets to be an invader. Has sleepy said any slurs? Also, Jerry being based as usual.

FWMC has been going on a horror game marathon today. The most recent game has them reacting to the revelation their character is now pregnant.
Quite a few choice remarks about giving birth on the street and leaving babies behind. Gets better towards the end of the story.

Seems they got a kick out of the ending.

The japs probably aren't full on pozloaded like the current West. Some vtubers saying nigger would probably just be funny to them
There isn't really the concept of a no-no word in Japanese. There are things you don't say to your boss, or your friend, or someone you don't know, but they're normally usable phrasings, just not the right context. Shit like not attaching an honorific to your boss' name, you know. The idea that simply saying "nigger" is always off-limits is very foreign to them.

It's generally just context based really yeah. For Westerners, saying Nigger is a taboo while for them? It's just an insult to the Brack man. Still not something they may say to their bosses but they wouldn't have qualms saying it to some random black guy on the street

Not even. The majority of their exposure to the word is via media, where it's almost never used as good sensible white people use it. They see it in things like GTA where it's every other word as a term of familiarity and brotherhood.

While I'm here, that Fubuki chocoball clip is great. It perfectly demonstrates another facet of Japanese culture differing from the West - commenting on differences in appearance is completely normal and unremarkable. I've come to England with my partner for an extended stay (honestly a bit of a mistake, would not recommend), and I've had to explain to her that she can not go around pointing out "this looks like a poor area" or "why are there no Muslims in M&S?" Or "wow your hair is so different from everyone else, is it because you're black?" She's just a normal Japanese lady saying normal Japanese things, but the culture is so wildly different that it's taboo. It's also very funny - there really are no Muslims in M&S.

Is she half Romanian and was she also born in Osaka?
She's Romanian and hapa, not sure if it's been confirmed where she was born. Since Tenma refuses to acknowledge the Romania thing, I wouldn't put much stock into what she says. She streams mostly from Romania. If anything, the more JPs that Phase gets, the harder it is for Tenma to keep up the plausible illusion that she wants to keep. Yet you have to go with it (or the meme "she's Canadian") or else you face the banhammer. It shouldn't matter, but that's how she wants things. I'm sure she has her reasons.

LOL god i forgot about the Chocoball thing. Also friendly reminder that one of my oshi's Sakura Miko said Nigga twice or so without knowing the meaning. It's something that westerners will laugh at/be shocked by but for the Japanese who aren't aware of the connotations just find it as another day of Miko
