Was that poster actually put on probation for that post?

Because knowing the mods on SA, that user was probably put on probation for that post.

The fact that it's listed twice and the second one is underlined means it's almost definitely genuine. Specifically the listed twice part. The two listings usually means a mod probated him, and then an admin came back in and gave him a longer probation (mods can only ban for six hours max so if you want a longer probation you have to ask an admin). The underlined part is a link to the Leper's Colony, which is done automatically on a ban/probation. The reason the second one is the only underlined one is because the longer probation overwrites the shorter one.

Yes, you could fake both of those things but typically people don't put that much work into fake probation posts.

Lowtax wants to go back to the early days of SA but he let his forum be taken over by these people and he's stuck with it. The shitlords aren't ever coming back and if he tries to go back to the way SA was in the very early days he risks too many people leaving and taking their tenbux with them. If he had a regular job he wouldn't have to worry about it.

But he doesn't (at last check, maybe he does now, but is being tight-lipped over it). So he has to put up with it.

It's a lose-lose situation here: If he changes it, people will go apeshit. If he kicks the current mods and admins out, he risks them going after his ass. If he ever decides to go "fuck it, I'm cutting it down", everyone will be trying to murder him. The man will never win, plain and simple.

I'd he switched to a different forum software and just released all the admins I wood never stop laughing. Also if the admins go after him or hurt the site for him doing that, he can actually push for damages through the courts thanks to Missouri law.

Troposphere, the mod responsible for those probes is a "lesbian" who likes girl dick and who is good friends with the woman who started that thread.

I highly doubt anyone would try anything. I'm sure there would be a ton of off sites that people would try to start but other than a D&D off site none of them would have a chance at success.

I'm saying more "Fuckw itht he code, archives or hosting" than going off site. Because in most states, Missouri included, that's malicious vandalism regardless of relationship with the business or owner, and Lowtax could actually force judgement to have them pay for the needed upgrades

The D&D posters would just go to Reddit, that's where most of the LF posters went.
I'm sure they all post on Reddit now but they originally made their own offsites. There was WWDDP, The Rhizzone, Post Place, Post Garden...I think that's it? Basically the community kept splintering off into new forums because of arguments about ideological purity and safe spaces. By the time they got to Post Garden, it was down to a small group of the absolute most insane trannys and (what we now call) SJWs of them all.

When an SA subforum closes (especially the FYAD-lites), they set up a new offsite forum because they're so used to the old message board style of SA. I'm sure D&D would do the same (in addition to spreading out and infecting the rest of SA) especially because they talk about how terrible Reddit is all the time.

lmbo I got perma'd from Something Awful for posting here. after i autobanned someone finished the job from the admin panel
crying shame, I had so much more to give
Wait are they banning users for posting on other forums now? Fucking why? Who actually cares about that? With a dying community like theirs they need as much blood as they can get.

Who banned you? Was it Taxman?

no idea, it was done from the admin panel so it doesn't show up in the banlist. but all the admins individually hated me so it could have been any of them

E: it was probably ZDR, he's exactly the kind of vindictive, petty IT jockey for the job
