I'm so genuinely confused about this whole thing with idubbbz. Why did he even do any of this? To have an in with the twitch crowd surrounding Hasan? None of them really care about having him around (especially Hasan), and if he just wanted someone popular to hang off of, he would have been much better off sticking with Ethan. The guy he was friends with for almost 10 years. I even feel like Ian was more himself in his past collabs with Ethan vs his videos with the cancer crew. He comes off as a bit more laid back.
And I don't for a second believe he truly cares about Palestine, so he's seemingly tanked his career and his 'charity' event for literally no reason. None of this has benefited him in anyway.

Based solely on his performance with Ethan, it seemed like he was desperately trying to dance around the fact that he was "in" with a group that has a worldview built on foundations that once exposed, end up sounding psychotic to normies when presented honestly. Now it just extrapolates the ratio from the addon users. So if a video has 1000 likes and 100 addon users went 50/50 on likes/dislikes the addon will show 1000 dislikes regardless of what the actual ratio is.(bit simplified but you get the gist)

That's misleadingly simplistic. They use an algorithm to estimate the actual dislike count. Some creators have claimed it is accurate enough. Regardless of how accurate it is, it's pretty safe to say if a video has a bad ratio based on their algorithm, the real ratio is not good.
