The budget cuts look to me like he wants to revert everything back to the FY2021 budget (his last year in office) plus the elimination of USAID.
While I would disagree with his decisions, I can’t get mad at them because this is part of the traditional role of the President. He’s not pushing unitary executive bullshit with this, just the usual Republican bullshit.

“He said, ‘How can we help you fight drug trafficking? I propose that the United States military come in and help you.’ And you know what I said to him? ‘No, President Trump.’”
She added: “Sovereignty is not for sale. Sovereignty is loved and defended.”
Of course, Jewitt wants to add a statement that was completely full of shit:
White House National Security Council spokesman James Hewitt said in a statement later Saturday that Trump has worked closely with Mexico’s president “to achieve the most secure southwest border in history.”
“Dangerous Foreign Terrorist Organizations, however, continue to threaten our shared security and the drugs and crime they spread threaten American communities across the country,” the statement said. “The President has been crystal clear that Mexico must do more do combat these gangs and cartels and the United States stands ready to assist and expand the already close cooperation between our two countries.”
Which frankly all sounds like shit to me. 'Foreign hostile Terrorist organization" is redundant. Just say fucking terrorists at that point. And hell, Mexico does more than the US when it comes to fighting Narcos as hundreds die annually fighting them while government programs drastically lessen the soft power of the Cartels. That soft power will be lost if the US even steps on Mexican territory which of course MAGAts don't understand because they think you can solve every issue with big guns.
