I do know the heads of different parts of the Israeli government went into Palestine to visit the kids morners tent to pay their respects to the family of the victim. I know the adult and his two accoplieses were arrested by the shin bet (think israel's fbi) because Shin bet has a whole division focused on Jewish extremists and stopping them. But in short Israel destroys the terrorists home as a way to punish them for their crimes because the Palestinian Authority won't. And any money the Palestinian Authority gives the terrorists won't go to anything but rebuilding the home. the whole home destruction thing is very controversial within Israel and has always been since it was implemented.

Yes, the Gaza strip was occupied by the Egyptians up until they lost it to Israel in the 6 day war. Jordan controlled the west bank of the jordan river (aka the west bank or as the Israelis call it judea and Samaria) up until they also lost it in the 6 day war. Both Egypt and jordan invented their own Palestinian government (because both Egypt and jordan were in a cold war type conflict with each other and used Palestine as a proxy). When Egypt and jordan lost the land they "relinquished control/ownership" of the land to the Palestinians (aka they invented the idea of the Palestinian as a people separate from the arab) as a way to ensure the Israeli would still be fucked over despite Egypt/Jordans defeat. Jordan gave the arabs it controlled on the west bank of the jordan, jordanian citizenship, while Egypt did not give citizenship for those in the gaza strip.


Remember if the Jews were never given the land they got most of "Palestine" would be jordan while some of it would be Egyptian.
