I never fully understood his entire fascination with people wiping his ass and changing his diaper, does he really think that autistic people are incontinent? Because my partner did volunteer work caring for autistic adults (both high functioning and low functioning) and most of them have no issue with using the toilet or cleaning themselves.

At most, you would get like 1 or 2 autistic adults who would need assistance in bathing or having to wear diapers, but usually it’s because they have some other physical disability such as cerebral palsy or mild motor function impairment.

I think he me suffer some other mental illness like attachment issues or separation anxiety and have some a mild form (keyword "mild") of post-traumatic stress disorder from almost dying from that car accident so he probably feels like he has to have people care for him and pamper him in order get some sense of security.

As creepy and weird as it sounds, some lolcows do this out of comfort like a security blanket.

Distressingly, I've seen a grown-ass man that looks/acts a bit like Andy here local to me. I'm pretty sure that earlier in the thread it was documented that he exclusively experienced urinary incontinence following the accident and then some time later he magically was no longer able to make it to the shitter when it was dump time.

Assuming there's a legitimacy to the accident and his urinary incontinence, it could be that this was a domino effect. Andy may not have meaningfully discovered his interest in shit until way later if he wasn't already wearing adult diapers for his bladder issues and that's why his family thinks of pre-accident Andy and post-accident Andy as being two different states, when in reality it's pre-fetish Andy and post-fetish Andy that they're comparing.

Edited to add: regarding the interest in diapers, Andy has two traits I've noticed in a lot of other people with this fetish: he was in diapers way longer than the average child and he was supposedly sexually abused. Something about this cocktail seems to turn people into peepeepoopoo fans. He isn't wearing diapers because he wants to be autistic. I think a lot of us may have been misreading Andy as a man acting like this, at least partially due to brain damage, but really he's a man who has been violently mentally ill since childhood and now he's been consumed by fetishism. We see all the time on this site how far AGPs are willing to go for their nut, so it's not that crazy that someone as unhinged as Andy would be willing to do all this and more to bust. He may be a little bit more mentally impaired than before but I doubt that whatever part of his brain was hypothetically damaged was the only thing keeping him from devolving like this, especially when he was already unhinged and impulsive enough to pull a knife on his mother at the age of 8.
