Honestly, watching through the highlights, it's amazing to see the juxtaposition. Jason always eager to start talking over anybody, nonstop blabbing to defend his air of superiority. Dr K on the other hand taking it slow, and just being authentic about how he feels and what he thinks without trying to play chess. A fraud vs someone who actually knows their stuff, a deeply insecure person vs someone with real confidence in himself.
It's crazy to see this side by side, it's like putting a troon in full drag next to a naked woman.

I feel it'd be too easy for Jason to say "I think you're wrong" to a normal therapist and either shop around until he finds one who will just agree with whatever he says or give up and say the average therapist simply can't understand the situation of someone as unique and special as him.

This is what trannies of both sexes do. FWIW in my circles I do not have a SINGLE psychiatrist or psychotherapist who thinks "being trans" is a real thing, but all of them are at least 40yo.

I never really thought about it I always assumed a narcissist would straight up believe their own inflated value. Narcs have a tendency to be intensely anxious underneath the bluster. Think of it this (exaggerated for effect) way: if you knew you were the main character of the universe, that everyone else's lives depended on you, that the birds only chirped to please you, the tide only went out to ruin your day at the beach, wouldn't that be an incredible weight on your shoulders? Keeping the sun rising every morning is a huge responsibility.

This. And I think it's self-defeating too: the way they do it basically encodes all the points of insecurity into the pattern of redirection, if you learn to spot it. To be real with you, I don't think there's any method as easy as you're hoping for. Here's a few ways I can think of from least to most effort:

1. Use OBS to screen record your clip. It's quick, dirty, and ugly but if you're just sharing a short clip of something already archived it doesn't matter
2. Use a one-off yt-dlp command which specifies the time range: yt-dlp https://www.youtube.com/live/7jDPsBh2AyQ --download-sections "*3:03:54-3:04:30" (Doesn't work on streams mid-broadcast last time I checked)
3. Use yt-dlp (or another similar tool) to grab the whole thing (or download an archive from here if it's available) and then clip up parts with an ffmpeg -ss <FROM> -to <TO> command or a GUI video editor like kdenlive. This is what I do and recommend if you're willing to put up with a bit of extra effort.

I doubt it. When this thread was new there were a lotta new accounts dropping into the thread to drop weird unsubstantiated claims about knowing him personally and having dirt on him. These were caught as suspicious and the thread was locked for a while while it was briefly looked into, then after that it came to a stop and hasn't happened since. My theory is that Mald caught on early and tried to control the narrative by muddying the waters but when he realized it wasn't working decided to make the only genuinely smart decision he's ever made and just completely ignore the farms. It's like 99.99% likely Mald lurks here but probably doesn't have an account.
