Personally I don’t have a problem with East Asians. I can even speak a little Chink. However, if I wanted to live amongst them I’d move to Singapore.

The Chinese haven’t really been here in large numbers historically though, and racist migration policies were developed specifically to stop them “swamping” us as Pauline would put it. Moreover, other Asian ethnicities (except Japanese in the pearling cities) have never been here historically. So I wouldn’t use history as a defence of Chinese migration to Australia.

I agree with you on their incompetence but I disagree that they won't try take over and perhaps gain ground politically.

Melbourne's equal would be Box Hill. Not a single shop in that place anymore is in English, even the big chain stores and train station have signs in Chinese. Most places don't even have English signs anymore. Its quite funny when you drive through, as everything surrounding it is reasonably white, so you suddenly enter Beijing for a few minutes before you exit and go back to Australia.
The Chinese are a menace, they love to buy up about 5-10 homes each in wealthy areas which pushes the already limited demand in these areas to the next level. Almost as bad as the Boomers with housing. I think I still hate Jeets more though.

Mt Waverley and McKinnon are the 2 main schools the Chinese target because they are selective (not open to all), have high VCE marks and very small school zones.
Unfortunately, the Indians are starting to move into the school zones (No idea where they are getting that cash from) So those areas are now flooded with loads of both Chinks and Jeets (They both hate each other as you would guess). It is at the point where a house in those school zones will cost almost half a million more than an equal house, in the same suburb, just not in the small school zone.
Also doesn't help that Box Hill, Glen Waverley, Mt Waverley were all nice middle class suburbs pre Chinkification, and it does piss me off.
