I mean, for what it's worth, I could have a while back confirmed a lot of speculation that was going on around January in regards to the clinic, but I'd told her I wasn't going to be spilling the beans on her plans and discussions with her mother since I felt a private space would have been healthier than a tabloid. I saw her as more likely to actually go through with it. And to be fair I was kind of eventually proven wrong in my optimism for her to get offline and treat it more seriously. She's better than she was, sure, but I'd be lying if I said I weren't a little disappointed.

I don't think you made a bad call. It's not the result you were hoping for, yes, I felt the same. Her first big lashing out in her thread after she was doing well for weeks was disheartening. One step forward is still better than none imo. No Internet access is a good idea, without anything to fill in her time though she might just find her self in other kinds of trouble though because of boredom.
Also, if people want to say you touched and want to raise an issue about it, they can pound sand. The intention is important to consider too. You're not trying to mess with her. I think people often forget on the forum, there is another person the other side of the screen.

I'm still rather confused about the whole ordeal myself. I figured if he had the account credentials before the ban it was to collect info for the thread, so I guess I just don't understand the point of what he was up to.

See that's something I'm also wondering now is just how much of the Alex account posts are Alex at this point, and when exactly in his post history they started getting muddied up with secondhand access. Of course all of the videos and (likely) the offsite activity is T&H Alex, but now I'm wondering about the posts themselves. Anyway, not really here or there since that's his thread not this one.

That's what Jewsh said on lying about lolcows a few MATI episodes away. Basically, if you lie about a lolcow and that turns out to be fake, then yeah the lolcow will look slightly 'sympathetic' and that ruins credibility of finding shit that's actually heinous about them. It taints the well to the core and ruins the fun.

Out of all lolcows to do this on, Alex? Really? His entire existence is a self-own!

I could see if it was a big shot like Faguentes, the Rage Pig, etc. Still bannable, but I could 'see' why some would think the risk of getting banned outweighs whatever, but Alex, that's just retarded.

I doubt that Toji actually posted as Alex at all. He probably just lurked a bit. That bring said, having access to Alex's account before the password was publicized means that he was involved in either Discord or DM gayops with BBL.
