I went to check the TFR subreddit for info on the latest teasers and happened to come across this very interesting comment by a supporter of Patriot Front under a post about what life would be like if the various chud factions won the second American civil war.

Remember dear Reader; there is a non-zero chance this is actually Patriot Front member running damage control. The guy who started and owned the 1942 Nazi Berlin G-mod role play server was a member of Patriot Front, janitors on 4chan were members of Patriot Front, it's not a stretch to say PF guys are terminally online.

That's putting it mildly; I'm not even on the same continent as those fags but I still bump into them constantly online, this isn't some mass movement ala le klassic KKK or even a moderately wide-spread one like the 90s militia movements; this a very small but extremely chronically online cadre. I'm not jumping to scream FED FED FED because they're not the mailbombing types really but the sheer manhours they put into spaming plebbit posts and umm and ahh pooostin is insane to be doing it for free.
Honestly surprised they haven't openly showed up here with kayeff being a "mid sized website" now, maybe teeny tommy doesn't like the optics of it lol.

I think the IRL NSM are more pathetic. As of 2025 they barely even exist as a group. But then again idk where to research them so I don't know if that's incorrect. I just know that Burt taking up the leadership was pretty much coinciding with a death spiral of that group.

It's going well! Heydrich's content is finished, minus his death event and coding and making portraits for his potential successors.

There are a few bugs caused by outdated code I still need to fix before I finally officially upload to steam, but nothing gamebreaking.

Right now I'm coding shared content for RUS and the Vengeance War (GER vs RUS). Probably no unique political content yet for united Russia aside from the army subtrees.

Also, I still need to code in the great power ranking system. It should not be too difficult but with paradox script you never know.

Afterwards, I want to focus on 72-82 content for Bormann and Speer. Content for consevracoup Speer will also be nice. I'm especially excited to code post-G4 Germany and Bormann's successors. I want to code post-Taboritsky death content (Pseudo Tabs vs Victor Larionov) around this time.

Oh, I have a bunch of code from leaks that I think I can implement now with minimal issues.

You’re doing God’s work my man. Hopefully when TNO: Detransition Edition hits the Steam workshop you can recruit additional help and an actual “TNO Redux” becomes a thing

I'd go as far as to say that they're so pathetic they're the faction I can't believe getting any mainstream support even in the world of TFR.

Unrelated but I think it would be interesting for Cascadia's Base path to be the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham to Atomwaffen's ISIS.

Not to get too off-topic, but I think this ties into a problem that really any fascist/nazi movement is going to struggle with. Fascism isn't progressive anymore.

When fascism was introduced, it was new, revolutionary, and it responded to the issues of the day with a determined vigor and program that looked ahead. Of course, some aspects of fascism were rooted in the nation and history, and they weren't ever afraid of drawing allusions and parallels to it. However, it was in service of a future ideal of the nation, not a RETVRN type dream of the past. Nazi Germany saw itself as completing the centuries long program of Ostsiedlung, and the development of the German/Germanic/Aryan people as a whole. Italy under Mussolini weren't just LARPing a new Rome, they dreamed of a new distinctively Italian Empire that drew upon more than just an appeal to Rome.

Today, however, Fascism and Nazism are a century old. In some ways, adherents to these ideologies (when they're genuine and not just LARPers or actually insane like the AWD) are out of touch with the developments of the modern day. The world in which these ideologies were built to live in does not exist anymore. And, much like the Marxists who failed before them, the modern Fascist and the modern Nazi too often leans into trying to force the world to match their ideology, rather than adapt their ideology to match the world.


Tl;DR: Modern day Nazis need to stop trying to copy-and-paste Hitler, and instead imitate what Hitler did in creating National Socialism instead.
