I hope this self-flagellation from synth yesterday was one time thing. As a way to make amends, I don't want that stream to be the turning point.
I'd say if it's an actual growth moment, he should learn some personal responsibility and self-restraint. No one forced him to watch the clip on stream or go type up a storm in her chat the next day.
I know that Egad and that circle have caused some trouble and Egad himself is kind of gay with the appreciation videos but it's nice that there's a community forming, just counting chatters there's also MegaRockinRolla and Old Stirling and then there's the larger sphere with other creators like Carl and Ptolemy. Dead Domain is a disgusting freak who will never be a real woman but it's funny to think how his hitpiece and Synth privating the streams kicked the synthcels in the ass and forced them to create more archivers and fan channels (the archivers probably steal from here, so kudos once more to @TOTAL NIGGER DEATH and all the rest) as well as the creation of Chudcast, which lead to Synth networking with other channels. I wouldn't say that Synth was "stagnating" by any means but I think the trajectory of the channel has definitely gone in an upward direction since then, there's been forward movement and the creation of a community whereas before it was mostly just him streaming, playing Breakers and making videos with the occasional Thomas stream appearance.

I am, as I always do. However, I also think that there are quite a few guys who agree with me on this. A guy whose brand is based on honesty, calling out obvious bullshit that is socially unacceptable to acknowledge, and criticizing the dishonest progressive dreck that infests modern entertainment can not suddenly pretend those things don't matter without it biting him in the ass. If this stays as a one time "whoa momma" meme, then I think most people will probably just leave it as a joke and move on, but if he doubles down, then I don't think it will end well for him long term. He's already marginal as far as youtube popularity and success goes, and that's entirely because he's a breath of fresh air compared to your usual Critical Drinker and Act Man types who ooze their lack of integrity out of every pore.

I do agree with alot of your points to be honest, I would just caution people about being too passionate and letting the sperg take hold which I will admit I am guilty of doing sometimes aswell. I checked social blade just to be sure and this incident hasn't seemed to have affected his channel at all if the numbers are anything to go by so I think we should really all let this thing blow over which it kind of already has. Even if he did collab with the vtuber it most likely be a one off thing like this whole incident was. I don't see this affecting his channel in the long term because hes still going to criticize games and the game industry like he's been doing, which what I'm hear for.
