What the fuck is with the left-wing's obsession with refugees? There are homeless people on the streets right now but they want to import refugees who can't speak English, don't want jobs, and will get thousands in EBT along with Section 8 housing the second they come into the country?
Marxism is all about the oppressed vs the oppressor. Anyone on the in of the status quo is an oppressor, all the poor brown people who want to come to America are oppressed. All the homeless people are oppressors because they're already in America, unless someone is trying to use the government to remove the homeless from the city square and not allow them to shoot up drugs in broad daylight, then they're oppressed. All brown people are oppressed because they're not white.

It's religious, even Talmudic you might say.

But there's also the fact that they need to keep piling in new rubes because current Americans are too entitled, demanding things like decent wages and health insurance. Jose and Rajeet won't though, so it becomes a matter of replacing the native population. Plus the more diversity there is the less social cohesion there is so it's less likely the population will rise up against you in any significant way. Not necessarily in a Jan 6th way but even keeping voting blocs tightly controlled is important to them.

How? Genuinely what is the legal justification for this?
Trump bad. That's it. Rules only apply when they're enforced and no one is going to hold these judges accountable (partially because the way the judicial system works judges are fags and petty little power tripping tyrants with basically zero oversight outside of rolling the dice with appeals courts, which can take months or years) because the system is rotten from top to bottom.
Your kid will go home, do research for his paper and all Google AI will tell him is Orange Man Bad. He won't be able to find any articles detailing what actually happened because AI will change the titles and make them unsearchable. Which will happen because tech oligarchs are largely totalitarian psychopaths because they're all autistic.
Google pretty much already does this with Youtube, it's next to impossible to find the original source of a video related to politics. You can find edited and spun versions from MSM accounts and various breadtuber types also spinning things, but they do everything they can to bury the original source video so you can't see the truth.

Like try finding the original source for the "very fine people" quote from Trump. Last time I did it was basically scrubbed from Youtube. But you can find hundreds of videos carrying water for the lie they invented about that event.

Are they actually obeying any of these orders or just hemming and hawwing until the Supreme Court steps in?
Y'know, that's something that just hasn't come up. It's almost like they just want to set the narrative that the Judges are stopping the evil Orange Hitler with a stroke of the pen and don't want anyone looking into it too deep. (Edit: Or the goal is just to bankrupt the DOJ with lawfare and waste his time, not to actually be successful.)

Get all the weird industrial shit out of our food. How is this even a debate?

Well, you see, Trump and RFK support removing bad stuff from our food supply, which means, on reflexive TDS instinct, it must be opposed at all costs. It's idiotic because this is one of those issues both sides should be able to meet on.

Wouldn’t it be HILARIOUS if Mark Carney ends every sentence with “thank you”? Could you imagine

"Is there anything Prime Minister Carney could say to you to get you to lift the tariffs today?"

"No"

Not the same fight they had with Zelensky but that was funny

I know I’ve genuinely been positive towards America in most of my posts but I’ll break with that sentiment when it comes to food. I know foreigners from literal who countries talking mad shit is getting old but come on, there’s no way any sane person can defend this. I get concerned when Trump guys demand that other countries deregulate their food industry so that American goods can compete. I’ve been to America before and a lot of the packaged foods there just taste kind of different. The sweets are really sweet and plastic/waxy looking, the soda tastes chemical like and the ready made meals are surprisingly bland considering how much salt/sodium is in the product.

Edit: also, what’s with that whole business of having 20+ different kinds of packaged snacks that all kind of taste the same? Do you like the lime flavoured takis? Well these ones are like that but they’re slightly spicy. And these ones are like the last one but they’re blue, and this other kind is like that but even more spicy!
My adhd addled brain struggled. I would spend 10 minutes standing in the isle like a moron just trying to chose one. And in the end they were more similar than different
It's all in your mind. Russia, China, and lots of other countries also have like 30 types of packaged snacks that are also basically the same and taste as such.

What’s all this shit now about Daniel Lozano-Camargo? Almost for sure another “Texas Dad”.
Reads like it.

I guess they're going to make a stink of every beaner that was sent to Superjail becase in the article it says he was given to Warden Bukele back in March. Also his mom says that he dindu nuffin wrong, he a good boy who went to the US for a better life.

Last month, U.S. District Judge Stephanie Gallagher, a Maryland-based Trump appointee, ruled that the administration's deportation of Lozano-Camargo violated a 2024 legal settlement that barred immigration authorities from deporting migrants who arrived as unaccompanied minors while their requests for asylum were pending.
This part is the most interesting one to me.
Mommy is aware of him but he came to the US alone as a kid
Who was trafficking him and who were the people that were housing him? Venezuelan gangs are known to use children to rob people because they usually get a slap on the wrist.

Previously, court papers referred to Lozano-Camargo as "Cristian" - at the request of immigration lawyers involved in the case. But POLITICO has reviewed metadata embedded in a government filing in the case, which they have reported included Lozano-Camargo's full name.
They were also hiding his identity.

No, it'll cover a 25k hut priced at $1,000,000 because the Government is paying for it and has no incentive to not waste money.

Section 8 should include a "we'll pay your rent but you have to move out of the most expensive neighborhoods on the planet." Create shanty towns of $25-50k project houses that fit 3-5 people comfortably out in the boonies and THAT'S IT.

I mean fuck if I had known I could have moved to a big city and just had daddy government pay all my bills I would have decades ago.
Oh wait, I can't, I'm white and male and SOMEONE has to work to pay for all this free shit.
Section 8 should be "We'll pay your rent/mortgage in rural Pennsylvania/Mississippi if you got an arm blown off in war and aren't a felon."

I saw this interesting article about Native Americans and wokism.
As someone who has a bunch of natives for in-laws, I’ve never heard of one who doesn’t like the redskins logo and the land o lakes butter girl.
Years ago, when the Atlanta Braves were good - and perhaps even in the World Series - the fans made the news for their cheer known as the Tomahawk Chop. It sparked what may have been one of the earliest debates on Native American imagery. Parent Pie asked a Native American family member for their take which was quite blunt: "There's more important things to worry about like the high rate of joblessness and alcoholism among our people than some stupid cheer."

Even in the 90s, schools with Native American-themed athletic mascots started doing that they could to ensure their logos presented Natives and their culture in a positive light - often asking any local tribes for input on the matter.

Now, such logos are deemed socially unacceptable by the powers that be and the imagery needs to be removed at all costs - an ironic move from the same people who complain about "erasure" while indiscriminately doing the very same thing with Native American logos of all sorts.

How? Genuinely what is the legal justification for this?
If I read the article correctly, the judge's reason is that the higher court didn't explicitly state the Trump Administration could disallow all of the refugees. For someone who doesn't play a lawyer on the internet, this judge seems to splitting hairs or using a technicality to rule against the Trump Administration. At the same time, it shows how divided the courts have become along partisan lines.

It also doesn't help that - according to old posts on the site - the Dems and related groups apparently have document templates they can quickly fill out to file a suit against the administration as easily as filling out a mad lib story. That gives credence to the idea these suits are more obstructionist in nature and not being filed to address actual legal concerns.
