The thing is they ignore is that there are kids (mostly girls) who think they are bisexual and not straight just to fit in or be special, but of course the LGBT community doesn't care about these kids, all the more queers to have sex with, am I right folks?

These are the same assbags that call for censorship when its something they don't like.
Tbh, I'm enjoying watching them get a taste of their own chloroform.

Lol that thread is magical, they think it's a blanket ban on lgbt issues, even when they're told it specifically isn't. In fact one albatross dude went and put a lot of effort into finding out what was going on, and posted his findings -

Given Google's corporate leadership on LGBTQ issues and awareness, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt in trying to figure out the filter. Most LGBTQ content is still available in Restricted mode (at least, according to articles that have looked into it), and so I'm assuming that the acceptable videos that are blocked in restricted mode -- makeup videos or some coming out videos (while others are available) -- will be fixed or tweaked as they improve the algorithm.

Restricted mode also blocks out conservative propaganda videos, atleast, according to this 2016 Breitbart article about it -- Not sure if breitbart can be linked, but google "Restricted mode conservative censors" and you get 26million results of right-wing outrage over YouTube blocking movies about "Judeo Christian Values."

And for other fairly mundane videos that YouTube blocks on restricted mode is a video about Alan Dershowitz giving a 5-minute lecture on the History of Israel (Boston Globe article) for instance. I doubt that Google is anti-Israel or against Dershowitz' 5-min history of Israel, but it probably has filters, tags, comments, or something else that get it blocked on restricted mode.

Only to get responses like -

Erm, Breitbart is false news personified. And for what reason is there to restrict LGBTQ content? Why the extra step?

Yeah, I'm sure there are many other valid reasons to restrict a video on transwomen makeup tips or asexuality awareness.

It's okay for the fact that it and the opposite are both censored, but when there is still so much hate that isn't being restricted you have a true problem. 1 place where LGBTQ is safe from school and home and work and stuff is no longer a place for them. By doing a blanket restriction on all things "adult/political" etc. and yet having so much still visible against LGBTQ, you put so many great people in a position where they are abandoned. YouTube should be actively working with them, not restricting them, especially if your blanket restrictions don't work.

What is likely a mistake in Google's algorithms hides a bunch of videos with an age filter that can be easily circumvented* = :gay: LGBT is being censored REEEEEEEEEEEEEE :gay:

First world problems strike again.

*Jesus H. Christ, guys, if you can't switch the filter off, why don't you just create a new account and fake the year of birth? All the cool kids 10 years ago knew how to do it. It's not like they demand passport information these days.

fucking lol everyone on twitter is dumb as a sack of rocks and just believes whatever makes them feel like they're doing something useful with their lives.

All of Queer Kids Stuff is view-able on restricted mode while Blaire White's channel only has 3 videos. I know Blaire's channel isn't really kid friendly, but this screams "censorship".

Source: checked myself on YT.

I joined YouTube when I was 14 and entered a fake birthday. According to my YouTube account information I'm 90 now. I've never had any problems with age restrictions at all, and I doubt these bozos have either. It's just another excuse for people to throw a tantrum.

Personally whenever this has come up today, I've been enjoying telling people that this is a wonderful thing for poor minority Muslims who just want people to live the good, salt of the earth ways of the Koran - No Homo.
It's ranged from full chimp outs to "Muslims love gay people" :story:. That and every screeching tard writer I know running to editors with their "hot takes", getting denied on this "Non Story". It's tantrum upon glorious tantrum.

I don't know, if it was truly restricting content that had anything to do with LGBT then I can see the issue, but Google has done a lot to promote LGBT equality, saying the business hates gays is a wild accusation.
Despite all this, thinking that YouTube will ever be over is retarded, that site ain't dying any time soon.

Can we start our own hashtag just to anger the spergs...uuh uuuh.... how about #YoutubeImprovedParty?

Despite all this, thinking that YouTube will ever be over is exceptional, that site ain't dying any time soon.

I don't think they're saying YouTube is over as much as they're saying that it's dead to them because it did something they didn't like.

It's just a Twitter thing to say that something is over. Last year alone I've seen #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty, #JustinBieberIsOverParty, #TylerOakleyIsOverParty, and even #AmericaIsOverParty during the election.

I don't get it either.

To be fair, the #youtubeisover hashtag isn't unique to this instance. I remember it also being used for that time when youtube randomly de-monitized a bunch of youtubers' videos for 'not being advertiser friendly' when the video in question covered controversial topics, had controversial tags, or swore a lot, and when yt had a subs glitch where people were being unsubbed from their favorite channels and subscribed channels' new videos weren't being shown in people's sub boxes or in the recommended videos list. Which was pm all sorted out quickly so these people are blowing up over something that will likely be fixed soon.
