You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Adult morkie will not potty train, and keeps putting shit in the beds(3 times last week). She just pissed right where I sleep this morning, caught her when she was leaving the bedroom. Vet said to start crating her, so I just started doing that. Now she's just being vindictive, literal bitch. My fault on her potty training, I kept her indoors on pads for too long. She was just too little to let run around outside, when she was a puppy. Anyone have dog potty training advice that has worked, please DM me.

60s and some 70s rock music. Like the Beatles or other popular bands of that era. I don't know why but it's like listening to nails on a chalkboard. Not all of it, there's plenty I like, but largely it genuinely causes me pain. The lyrics are typically super repetitive but I think it's the recording quality and instrumentation or something. Same with new wave crunchy pixel NES or original Gameboy wanna be music. Stuff like the shovel knight soundtrack. for some reason it's so grating.

I absolutely fucking hate how whenever someone is disagreeing with someone else on the internet, a lot of times nowadays instead of just saying their point of view in replying them, instead they have to start their response with a pointless "I disagree." kind of sentence that is literally useless and just a waste of screen space. On Reddit especially this happens fucking constantly and every time I see it I'm immediately thinking "Oh god, another pretentious asshole..."

It always seems to be the most smug pretentious people that write in this way, too. Normal people in real life do not talk like this. Please choke on a lemon.

People who say completely incorrect things with 100% confidence. Everyone has their blind spots so I expect it to happen occasionally, but when it’s frequent I assume they’re either too insecure to admit when they don’t know something, or too stupid to realize that they don’t.

I worked with someone who would do this several times a week — completely confident and decisive statements that are just wrong or indicate a misunderstanding of what we’re working on. When corrected, they’d flip almost immediately after giving some non-excuse like “phew, it’s been a long week!” So now it’s even worse — they were both completely wrong and also insist on pretending they knew all along and just had a momentary lapse.

It’s alright not to know things, just have an ounce of self awareness about it instead of hoping to bullshit your way through life.

From what I've read, copyright originally started as a form of censorship.
Also speaking of, that notion of "moral rights" with a bad derivative of a work being inherently "harmful" to the original work is BS. Content itself is non-rivalrous: there can be a bad derivative by someone else and the good original with derivatives separate from the original. Of course fraud or lying about who made what is a different story.

Why do so many new parents have their child and immediately decide to take them straight out of the delivery room and onto a 14 hour international flight? Flying economy is already miserable enough, don't make everyone listen to half a day worth of baby crying.
This reminds me of one time I went to the movie theater to watch a Star Wars movie, and somebody's toddler kept screaming and crying throughout the entire movie.

It wasn't that bad because they kept removing the toddler, but who brings a toddler to a movie?

i hate loud ass cars i get it your loud and obnoxious and you dont care but i can hear your shitty 6 ton blob at 2am. and another thing i also hate subwoofers in cars my fucking coworker always blasts fucking hazbin hotel music and i can hear it vibrate in his shitbox about how hell is full i get work sucks and you like your music but everyone (ME) views you as a pretentious asshole for disturbing the peace with viziepops 6/10 musicial

There's normal cars, older cars that are somewhat louder, and then there's the ones modified to sound like motorcycles.
someone near my house (probably(maybe its more of a shitty truck)) removed their fucking muffler so it sounds like someones getting shot when hes hunting at 2am and the other guy has a 6ton shit box that has a muffler thats completely hollowed out (completely destroying what a muffler is made to do(all for le preformance of the car he said better gas mileage but no sleep for me im that one wojak image)) because theyre like half a decade old car guy who thinks loud is cool
as for the hazbin hotel guy its just shitty subwoofers that everyone in the block can hear im surrounded by everyone who wants to sound like a v twin

It used to bug me alot and still does to some level, when people said really incorrect or stupid shit but tried to pass it off as actual facts. I mean as you say its different when you're just ignorant or not really knowledgeable but acting like your voice is the solemn authority on it is what I hate. The worst part is you're vilified for trying to explain why its wrong or why you shouldn't spout bullshit.

I hate stupid fucking Non-Americans posting around online and try to make sense of American-related issues. They clearly don't take any minute of time to learn and do their own research. They just think because they have internet access within their shoebox of a residency, that their opinions and half-baked point of views have any value when they're projected. When it is disappointingly amusing to read them babble about things they clearly don't have a quarter of an understanding.

And the entitlement radiates from them too because there could be a chance that they're in the US through being illegally born through illegal immigrants and yet are allowed to live here because of that. Who are you to be talking about American-related issues and values, you fuck?

Bundle that with the many typos, poor formatting and the tone-deaf way they go on about addressing the issues. Makes me glad the only shred of America's dignity is that to be president, you actually have to be born here. Unfortunately, there's always going to be a chance some shit ball illegal immigrant baby (or "Dreamers" leftists call them) to try. And then we'll have to deal with their shitty understanding in how to solve the country's problems when their humble beginnings traces back to the days when they ran their mouth online with a vague grasp of said issues.
