This seems to be a meme (in the classic/scientific sense) that's going through the zeitgeist -- "I'll just flat out state how much (I think/guess/want you to believe) Trump's tariffs are MAKING me charge you extra, so you'll be mad about the tariffs and not me raising the prices."

This falls apart because
1. Tariffs only affect things produced in shithole countries with un-American working and living conditions (if not outright human rights violations, like China / India). People do not have a negative opinion of the tariffs.
2. The tariffs are HIS obligations, not ours.
3. Not everyone's going to do it, no matter how bad the meme gets.

It does make me wonder if the right could do the same shit right back to the left. Imagine getting your McGoyslop bill in a Californian McDonalds and having a line item thing detailing which taxes are going to what lazy niggers. "Burger: $12. Tyrone gets to lay on his fat ass instead of working fee: $2. Shaniqua can't stop fucking random men charge: $1.53"
