Unrelated to Fatrick, but this “sister” and “brother” thing reminds me of a particular black friend I had who hated being called brother in any context aside from relation to his siblings.
Whether it was other black people or misguided honkies trying to demonstrate that they were totally down with the nigs, it really pissed him off.

He wasn’t a coconut exactly, he was from a fairly well off African family.
So he was a bit caught between the worlds of the local street rat ghetto black kids, the Jamaican “community” and happy clappy Christian blacks of African origin.
He had been to fairly good schools, but burned out at university.

But anyway, I am sure Patrick would have ground him into succulent roni had my friend turned his back.

It would amuse me greatly if the newest group of Patposters would be some Karens on Bluesky because they think he is a racist, even "unmasking" him on a personal site nobody gives a shit about.

Two of my black friends in military hated being called African American. Their respective ancestries were from the Carribean and they didn't want to be referenced as African. One would go "Do I look like I speak <insert apefrican clicking language> to you?" as long as it wasn't someone of higher rank saying it. It made some guys hilariously uncomfortable.
