specifically its an extremely detailed rejection of tikkun olam by rejecting the tzimtzum, two extremely important gnostic spiritual concepts in post-enlightenment judaism.Remember Neon Genesis Evangalion is just a show about rejecting jews.
there's a young adult novel called House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer that's about one of the boys grown in vats for an opium lord in mexico figuring out what his fate is meant to be and then escapes into the mexican desert to be kidnapped by fake communists, it's probably one of the most disturbing pieces of fiction i read as a child because its not an allegory for discovering reality or whatever its basically just about dealing with other people's hubris. good book thoughI always wondered whether the Michael Bay movie The Island from 2005 was maybe inspired by the novel Duplik Jonas 7 from 1992, or if it was just coincidence. The main plot point is the same: Humans can get perfectly fitting transplant organs by having clones of themselves for the express purpose of organ harvesting should it be needed. The clones live in a secret facility and are being lied about the rest of the world, and they're kept as healthy as possible.
Oh yeah, I knew there was something like that that I forgot about. The Island is actually based on Parts: The Clonus Horror. Seriously, Dreamworks was sued by the writer of Parts and they settled out of court.
dont get TOO wildIsreal has nukes
"There can be only one."just getting this straight - israel and south africa developed nuclear weapons so they could both have political leverage, then israel threw them under the bus?
i mean if you call supporting the south african regime until the apartheid regime literally fell as "throwing under the bus" then yesthen israel threw them under the bus?
well generally speaking if you support somebody as an ally and they turn against you, the path of least moral resistance is to say "we'll be cool again if they capitulate" instead of just pretending you were never allies in the first place and actively attempting to run interference on the relationship ever existing. it's what the israelis do with the velas double flashi mean if you call supporting the south african regime until the apartheid regime literally fell as "throwing under the bus" then yes
Wasn't that some kind of creepypasta thing ages ago? I..made the mistake of reading into it and now have concepts forever stowed away in my mind that I would prefer weren't there..DOGSCAPE
I would suggest that one underlying theme to it all is giving people a chance to choose in a way they otherwise constantly ignore through distractions until their body dies. Each major moment practically forces each individual to choose from a place of fear, or choose from a place of self-respect/bravery/love/etc.These people create problems and then add even more terrifying solutions.
This is easily in my top 10 favorite conspiracies brought up in the whole thread. Which hero won that one instead? In the 2016 Arcana vote for DOTA 2 they rigged the vote against IO
Looks like JuggernautWhich hero won that one instead?
transgenderism really isn't transhumanism, they aren't trying to transcend any barriers they're trying to impose arbitrary barriers within an existing space. they aren't trying to extend beyond themselves. it's really just aesthetic body modification taken to a grotesque extremeI really need to watch Evangelion.
The tranny thing being a way to trojan horse transhumanism is interesting but I find that to be a bad idea. As someone who has dabbled and supports some aspects of transhumanism trannies do absolutely nothing to help the case of that ideological school of thought. If anything trannies come off more as a warning against transhumanism by their grotesque nature and gruesome surgeries and procedures, not to mention they do a very good job of showing the dangers of the whole "your CyberEyes stopped working cause the license for them expired, pay 1999,99 to get it back" with the insane cocktail of hormones and psych drugs they take.
If you do watch it I suggest the ADV dub. Netflix redubbed it and IMO it's not as good.I really need to watch Evangelion.
I don't disagree with this but with all the transhumanism and cloning talk the last few pages, how have furries not been mentioned? They are arguably more prevalent than trannies, similarly over-represented in science and tech fields, and -this is the big one- they can recruit in plain sight since anthropomorphic characters in cartoons and stories have been normal basically forever. The tranny thing being a way to trojan horse transhumanism is interesting but I find that to be a bad idea. I would assume not since people seem to lump pakis in with the jeets as rapist mudbeastsWas the recent rise in anti-pajeet racism really a psyop by Pakistani intelligence in order for people not to care about India?
no they legitimately earned all of that hate mostly by calling peoples cell phones repeatedlyWas the recent rise in anti-pajeet racism really a psyop by Pakistani intelligence in order for people not to care about India?
