A fundraiser created by the user "Shiloh Hendrix" has raised more than $125,000 to help her family relocate after claiming the viral video led to their address, names and her Social Security number to be leaked.​

ROCHESTER — The woman who allegedly directed a racial slur toward a child in a viral TikTok video has raised more than $125,000 for herself and her two children, according to a campaign on GiveSendGo.

A crowdfunding campaign titled "Help Me Protect My Family" was created by the user "Shiloh Hendrix" on Thursday afternoon, May 1. Hendrix claims her Social Security number, home address, phone number and place she works out have all been leaked to the public. The fundraising goal is set for $150,000.

"I am asking for your help to assist in protecting my family. I fear that we must relocate," the campaign said. "I have two small children who do not deserve this. We have been threatened to the extreme by people online. Anything will help! We cannot, and will not live in fear!"

The video depicted a man, who is not white, confronting the woman for calling a Black child a racial slur. Though the original video was taken down, Michael McWhorter, known online as TizzyEnt, reposted the video on Wednesday, April 30, to his more than 9.5 million followers across TikTok , Instagram , X and YouTube.

In her campaign, Hendrix claims the child stole from her 18-month-old son’s diaper bag at the Soldiers Field Park playground.

“I called the kid out for what he was,” Hendrix wrote.

As of Thursday night, the fundraiser has received more than 4,000 donations.

The video has since received millions of views, with McWhorter’s repost receiving 8.2 million views. Local leaders in Rochester have also responded to the video.

The Rochester Branch of the NAACP called on the Rochester Police Department and the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office to investigate the incident and file necessary charges. Rochester Mayor Kim Norton urged Rochester residents to do all they can to “end racism in this community.” DFL state lawmakers representing Rochester issued a joint statement condemning the “vile acts of racism” and said they were grateful that the person taking the video stepped in.

On the crowdfunding page, Hendrix alleges the individual who stepped in to film the video proceeded to follow her to her car and claims he has a criminal history. The Post Bulletin has not yet been able to identify the person who filmed the video. The TikTok account of the original poster has since been privated.

According to Minnesota Court Records Online, Hendrix was convicted of a misdemeanor DWI in 2014 and a petty misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct in 2012.

RPD is aware of the video and has received multiple calls related to it, RPD’s Amanda Grayson previously told the Post Bulletin. The police department is “actively looking into the matter.”

That's a great fucking question. Well, some people are still coming in saying she does only fans or is on meth (and the child was a confirmed autistic 5 year old). The take I can be sympathetic to is those who think it's inherently trashy to call a kid bad names, but she doesn't deserve to be punished for it. Personally I don't have the full story, but I'm tired of giving benefit of the doubt to these niggers; I believe those who say the kids get trained to steal by their parents, and I believe those who say the autism diagnosis is a grift to let them get a head start on shrugging off any kind of standard, including personal, starting in grade school. Shiloh might be one of the few courtesy wake up calls this kid gets out an absurd, coddling system on his way to being a nigger permanently.

I'm not a fan of tattoos myself, but I'm done for now with the phrase "white trash". I also have specifically avoided the phrase "racial slur" this whole thread. At first it was just instinct, knowing that it would be conceding the frame, but I've thought more about it since. Someone else pointed out a similar term with loaded negative affect to use on a kid could be "bastard". You call a kid that, he knows you're mad at him. A society with slightly different mores could easily find bastard the more insulting term, but obviously in America it's pretty much only kept its connotational sting while the traditional marriages (like Shiloh's! can she call a college-educated, employed single mother raising an absent nigger father's child white trash?) that prevent bastardy have crumbled.

"Racial slur" as a concept is a symptom of our neurosis and societal dysfunction around race, which is revealed as salient by their potency. And remember, there are no racial slurs for whites. Individual white ethnicities, sure. And yeah, we've all heard the few old ones or the made up 4chan gayops (feel free not to respond with your favorite, I've heard it); if a black man yelled one of them at a white, it would be the goofiest thing imaginable. The idea that there are slurs for both blacks and whites is a psyop. So that's why Shiloh is a hero. This word is just about our strongest taboo, and they will chimp and chimp and chimp over it, but the only way forward is for more people to just get tired of it. The light at the end of the tunnel is the idea that we acknowledge that there's no such thing as hate speech in America, and however using a word makes you look, responding to it with violence is the escalation. If we ever abolish the civil rights act and regain freedom of conscience and association, once we actually judge people by the content of their character and not how they'll look in racial crime statistics, maybe racial healing could actually begin.

Reminder that wikipedia just relies on secondary source articles, and we all know how absurdly wrong news articles get things. If that wikipedia article has details that are more accurate and in line with the basic facts of the case than any article which can be found, that is against their policies, as it indicates someone relying on primary research, i.e. having watched the video and relaying neutrally what takes place in it...or even just eschewing the false claims of journalists that are debunked by watching it!
