I know this is probably late to mention so far into the thread, but so many 764-adjacent communities have a common theme I notice that is super in-line with the "OG" (desirable) username circles from sites like OGUsers and BreachForums. Their behaviour is pretty much 1:1, from the SIM swapping, ransoming, swatting, gay in-drama, edgy e-boy aesthetic, etc. I know for a fact that sextortionists run in those circles too (primarily for "fan" signs and shit), but I wonder how many of these username losers are straight up 764 members, or at least affilitated with their groups in some way. Might be worth a look, but I'm so out of the loop with the scene that I have no idea where they mainly operate these days, I used to keep tabs on their forums and stuff as a part of my job when I worked for a large socialmedia company a few years back, and they're some of the most insufferable faggots on the entire Internet. It just got me thinking, I really wonder sometimes how many of these people cut their teeth in those circles ransoming fancy usernames from people before realising that the actual harassment and cybertorture aspect of the whole thing appealled to them more than the gay usernames do.
