I think her jealousy of Hila is motivated not just by her success, but also because she is very similar to Anisa in some regards. Both Anisa and Hila got married to popular YouTubers from the edgy era of YouTube, both became faces of their husband’s respective brands (which in Hila’s case came entirely naturally, whereas Anisa barged in and expected Ian’s fans to accept her without a second thought), and of course, both are pretty ugly.
I think Anisa inserting herself into the Idubbz brand ultimately just comes down to her “me, me, me!” mentality, but I do wonder if she looked at how Hila is essentially the co-face of H3H3 and wanted to imitate that without realizing you can’t just force that dynamic.
