So this is proof that Agent JD Vance killed the pope and forced the cardinals to elect a American plant, right?
They were told elect American or face tariffs, of course.

Now I wanna see Vance visit the current leader of the Mormon church, get a piece of that tithing pie.

According to the stream I'm watching previously the wisdom was that an American could never be chosen as Pope because America is too powerful and it would be dangerous to centralise power.
Does he get away with this by being part Latinx or is America no longer seen that way

Centralise what power and how? A majority of Americans are heretical bible thumping evangelicals and protestants.

The Pope has little power... but a lot of authority. Don't confuse the two.

The Vatican bent knee to Trump.
Unironically i am certain Trump was an issue for the conclave. With the USA prancing around like a bucking bronco, they may feel an American Pope might give them some pull in Washington.

And knowing how easily pleased Trump is when his or the Countries ego is stroked they are absolutely correct about this.

Wish King Von could be alive to see this, we may have just gotten the first pope from O Block.
Im going to give this a natural informative reaction. It only says he expressed anti-fag views previously. Doesn't mean he won't just "change his mind" later when it becomes convenient.
Since the pope is infallible when it comes to matters of Church doctrine, he cannot make things that are immoral according to Church doctrine (like gay marriage) moral, so I wouldn't worry about him possibly changing his mind.
