By all accounts the Rafales are performing really well, that is why the stock price is going up - both India and other countries will be ordering more french stuff. india is currently striking ground-based air defense sites and you expect to take aircraft losses performing those missions. if they are successful the way Israel pantsed Iran, it's totally worth the trade.

While not as ideal as it being located in nebraska and filled with sues and jhonnys, this would still be a massive improvement. Brazilians are much closer culturally to the US due to catholic values, and their accents are much closer to english as is the Portuguese language.

I have also known south americans who understand the concept of taking pride in your work and actually helping people. The ratio isn't amazing but it's a lot higher than 0 (our current situation).
