The anime YouTube community and the anime community are wildly different today compared to 8 years ago. I wonder if Digi did that video today, what would it be like (this is assuming he still maintains relevance)

I could see Eyepatch still getting emotional over something like that even to this day, especially with the type of content he puts out now

What changed? Haven't seen what the communities have been up to in a long time.
I assume there would probably be a lot less anitubers left to shittalk, because nowadays
anime channels don't get pushed as much in the algorithm, meanwhile
the anime industry keeps cannibalizing itself by adapting the same generic stories
over and over again. Even the quality of animation has gone down over the past 8 years.
Digi would be very dissapointed.

Another Nate update, he got married to his long-term girlfriend Michelle. They've been together for at least 7 years at this point.

Seems like Digi and his man-mate were not invited. He had to be told that his friend of almost two decades got married last weekend. His brother, Vic, who only knows Nate because of Digi went to the wedding with another former PCP member.

Yeah well if you made me quit my job, uproot my life, and move to another city for an ongoing joint project, only to turn around and tell me you're gonna become a traveling hobo rapper tranny and will "come around to record every once in a while", effectively killing the project (and other group projects on which I depended financially), forcing me to go back to my old job and derailing my content creator career for years (which to this day still hasn't fully recovered), I wouldn't invite you to my wedding either.

Deep down, Nate is disgusted with Digi. It's definitely a mixture of the fact he had to move across country for some project on Digi's dying channel just for Digi to bounce, along with the fact Digi himself became a disgusting homeless tranny. Nate probably saw Vic as the only sane one (Vic himself probably just as, if not more, disgusted at Digi) and clicked over that. I mentioned before but back in the PCP days, Nate was the only normal-looking one out of the bunch

I think a lot of people here give Nate a lot of charity because he looks the most normal. Fact is he was a brony (clopper) for many years, he was a fervent lolicon for many years after, and he was drawn to Digibro in the first place.

Digi says that Nate, Ben, and Jesse are all transphobic. Not because they don't respect his pronouns or tranny persona, but because they criticize Digi for things that he does.

Digi seems to have no interest in ever having anything to do with Nate primarily because it would put him anywhere near Ben.

Digi says it is "on sight" with Ben.

Lookism is always going to win. Nate looking the most normal will cover up any degrading acts he liked, that and marrying someone.

Can't say I'm surprised that Nate, Ben, and Jesse hate Digi. I honestly doubt it's about just Digi being trans, but also built up resentment for all the past years.
