Whether it was trying to push feminism as "the new hotness" (Ghostbusters, Star Wars Sequels), or pushing progressive topics like homosexuality (Steven Universe). It really does feel bizarre in retrospect how so much of Hollywood collectively stopped in its tracks and all banded together against something like this.
