I fucking hate 90% of cyclists. They wanna "share" the road, but they don't wanna share any of the rules. I can't tell you how many of those neoprene-wearing faggots I've seen blow a stop sign or fail to signal. One of these days I'm gonna watch one of them get plastered, and I'm gonna pull over to get my laughs in.

Seperate bike lanes exist to prevent such things from happening but whenever I'm in a place that has them, you always see the idiots riding in the road anyways.
I always rode against traffic when i did bike because people used to try and clip my rear tire, even if i was as far over as humanly possible. Hated it but you'd get yelled at by boomers for riding on the sidewalk.

Sorry for getting back to you so late. That was what people were saying for a while when there was one the one sucess case from 2004, although, according to my numbers from 2020, the Milwaukee Protocol has saved at least five people since then, when using the criterion of "was alive a year after the infection" (if you count the one comatose case as saved). I'm not sure how many times it's been tried (I've seen estimates from around 80 to into the hundred) but assuming it's less than 500 that means it works at least 1% of the time, which is not nothing, supportive care works so rarely it's only a fraction of a fraction of a percentage, so it does get some results.
However the Milwaukee Protocol is very expensive, according to a report from after its first implementation it cost upwards of $800,000, and since Rabies confirmed now almost entirely to the third world, few hospitals are able to shell out the $100,000s required for only a single digit percentage chance it is rarely employed. Besides surviving Rabies often comes down to factors outside of ones control, like being under 20.

Witnesses claim that Aleksander Banas Konrad was attacked by people passing through the Granjas Familiares II neighborhood. The man, visibly agitated, was pleading for help in his language, leading those present to misinterpret the situation as an attempted kidnapping.
The Municipal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPCM) reported that upon arriving at the scene, security officers found the victim with serious injuries that ultimately led to his death. They also received reports of an alleged assault against a woman and her five-year-old son.
Hours later, authorities arrested José René "N," a personnel transport driver identified as a participant in the tourist's murder.
In a subsequent operation, they located the vehicle involved near the 10 de Mato neighborhood. During the inspection, they found the driver in possession of a bag of dried, green marijuana-like weed, as well as reddish stains inside the car, presumably blood.

In the incident at about 3 pm, the victim, Mazlan Ahmad, 68, who was riding a Honda EX5 motorcycle, was confirmed dead at the scene due to serious injuries.
Kampar District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohamad Nazri Daud, in a statement announced that initial investigations found that the Nissan lorry driven by a 25-year-old man was travelling from the Simpang Pulai to Bidor direction.
“The lorry hit the rear of the victim’s motorcycle which suddenly exited the Masjid Jamek Jeram area.
“The accident is believed to have occurred when the victim entered the main road without giving way, causing a collision with the lorry which was in the Kuala Lumpur lane,” he said.

December 1st, 2024 in St. Charles, Illinois:
As reported by a 911 caller, Mr. Escalara was going through some sort of mental crisis and was reported cutting down a tree with a chainsaw; however, during the call, he suddenly began randomly walking towards the River Glenn's Retirement Home, prompting the police to rush down there. Upon arrival, a few first responding police officers follow the lunatic inside the building; despite de-escalation attempts, the police were forced to open fire, which fatally wounded Escalara.

I use the sidewalk damn near daily (not in Philadelphia) when running and you must be joking if it's any safer or better than the street.
I actually run mostly in the street now because sidewalks everywhere are so shoddy that it feels like why even have them? NC, Texas, Colorado, all of 'em in any moderate suburban setting. Places are run by fucking retards who should resign and stop fucking cities up.

Red Maserati makes illegal U-turn, dislodges barrier piece and causes 4-motorcycle crash - bridge between Malaysia and Singapore (2025.05.09)
According to The New Straits Times (NST), the Singaporean driver, 27, had allegedly made an illegal U-turn and crashed into the central divider at about 7pm on Friday.
The impact sent shards of the metal barrier into the opposite lane and caused a four-vehicle crash at the 0.6km mark of the Second Link Expressway, NST reported.
A 26-year-old motorcyclist hit by the debris was flung onto the road shoulder, the report added. He suffered severe head and leg injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dashcam footage of the accident has gone viral online, with one clip showing a motorcyclist hitting what appears to be a dislodged part of the central divider, and other motorcyclists also falling after being hit by debris.
Other clips of the aftermath of the incident shows a crowd of people surrounding the Maserati. Some were seen hitting the car with helmets and later shouting at a man.
Iskandar Puteri district police chief Assistant Commissioner M Kumarasan told NST that in the aftermath of the crash, several furious road users had allegedly assaulted the Maserati driver and hit him with a helmet before police arrived at the scene.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving causing death, and Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt using a weapon.

This Sunday, a hot air balloon participating in the First Balloon Festival, held as part of the patron saint celebrations in the municipality of Enrique Estrada, Zacatecas, caught fire mid-flight. As a result of the accident, one person on board the balloon lost their life.
The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. and was captured in several videos shared on social media. The footage shows flames engulfing the balloon's basket as it begins to lose altitude. At one point, a person is seen hanging from the basket by a rope before falling to the ground in an uninhabited area.
Zacatecas Secretary of Government, Rodrigo Reyes Mugüerza, confirmed the victim's death and stated that local authorities promptly responded to the scene to assist those affected. He also called on the State Prosecutor's Office to carry out the necessary investigations to clarify what happened.
Reyes Mugüerza urged municipal authorities to strengthen Civil Protection verification procedures to prevent risks during future events and festivities.
"I regret to inform that during the celebration of the First Balloon Festival, held as part of the Enrique Estrada 2025 Fair organized by the municipal government, one person lost their life following a tragic incident while on board a hot air balloon. Authorities immediately responded to the scene to provide care and support to those affected," Reyes Mugüerza said in a Facebook post.
"We have asked the State Prosecutor's Office to carry out the appropriate investigations to clarify the facts and determine accountability. We urge all municipal authorities to strengthen their verification systems to prevent these kinds of risks during their events and festivities," he added in the same post.
