I gave "Unleash the Avatar" a cursory Google search earlier due to it cropping up in this thread and happened upon an r/IndianGaming thread discussing the game. There wasn't anything interesting about the conversation itself, though what caught my eye was how big the subreddit was and how long it had been around. There's an equivalent subreddit called r/Indiangamers, though I'm only going to focus on the "Gaming" one.


What surprised me most about the subreddit was how familiar it felt. The mannerisms, talking points, nostalgia baiting and in-humour of the subreddit is almost identical to the circlejerking of r/gaming. A lot of the subreddit boils down to pandering gaming memes, though there are some curios buried in here as well.

There are a ton of awkward videos and images of parents playing video games and being "huge gamers", though I found the image of the ramshackle crack den on the right to be the most amusing.

Another jeet game, this time about child sex trafficking. I don't know whether the game is a tactful representation of the issue, but I think it's amusing that the trailer awkwardly misuses a Polygon article to describe the game itself, rather than highlighting any areas of praise.

One would think that the jeet bloodline is scourged enough to the point of gaining a natural immunity to the soyboy phenotype, but mother nature continues to elude


I've noticed that Indians love to cordon off their own in-group communities on Reddit. I can understand if the subreddit is directly related to the arts, culture or country of India, but there are tons of random ass subreddits where the "Indian perspective" doesn't really add anything new to the discussion. Guess it just goes to show how much they love integrating.

this is not just a tendency but a necessity for all the idiotic nationalism they stew in 24/7. nobody wants to be around them, nobody wants them added to their scene. nobody cares to know more about "the indian experience" of anything. it's not relevant, except when it's forced by globalizing the economy and having open society for everyone who never asked for it.
and like i said a while back, their entire purpose in life is to assume other people's roles. not to integrate, but to replace. they are standard issue great replacement. they're the ones going everywhere while others specialize in this or that euro/anglo infestation. ask around, there are no countries without pajeets anymore. not an accident

Nationalism is based so long as you keep it in your own country. I hope all Indian nationalists move back to India because they're so nationalistic and love their country so much. They will be happier and we in countries that are not India will be happier. Everybody wins

Worse, it seems a dev team got hitched to a women's charity and sold them that they deeply cared for the issue and wanted to make a game spreading awareness. They first made a basic game to demo the idea and intended to follow up with another, better game. Essentially using that first game and the idea to take to publishers. They were able to get traffic like that article but then got annoyed the association with sex trafficking lead to fewer sales and no publishers calling them instead of adding fame to their game so they cut ties and now it's likely no longer a part of it and it's a whole new game. Essentially scamming anyone who supported a game meant to spread awareness on sex trafficking to fund their own dreams of a successful game studio. And also any money and effort that charity wasted on them.


This Kickstarter update explains it. Somehow I'm more disgusted.

Best case scenario these people coldly listened to survivors, learned about the horrors of the industry, literally visited the place of horrors itself, and still threw it all away cause it didn't get them the fame and money what they wanted. Even after getting over 50k for it on Kickstarter, plus grants and charity money. Worst case, these devs got contacts with child prostitutes, knowledge of the industry, visits to the district's, and all sorts of other awful knowledge they can remember for later. Plus if they're pedos these guys got paid to sit in a room with survivors and listen to them talk about all the things done to them and how it affected their lives.
I went looking expecting a basic scam, not this!
ETA: the steam page for the new game. It does scrub all references to the old game, the charity, and any awareness towards any issues related to CSA or trafficking

Regardless of how you perceive Turkroaches, it’s undeniable that Turks are far more competent than Indians in battle. Turco-Mongols were a menace across Asia and Eastern Europe and gave the west bloody noses at times.

The Mughals themselves are of Turkic origin; they came from Uzbekistan and raped most of the Indian subcontinent. And Indians to this day mald and seethe that these foreign Islamic Turkic invaders actually cleaned up their shithole and displaced Hinduism before the dreaded Britishers came on by and displaced these entrenched Islamic rulers (and promoted Hinduism actively).

As for the Turkey-India comparisons I see Indians constantly do: Turkey today is a country full of Turkified Europeans (Balkans, Greeks, Caucasians like Georgians/Chechens) who are hardened fighters and can hold their own ground well. Indians cannot even handle Pakistan, a fellow Pajeet country with a 70% cousin marriage rate. How can Indians ever talk down to any other nation when a tiny island’s corporation brutally mogged them in 1858? Indians have such an inferiority complex it’s unreal.
