You don't have to ban porn. Just tax the profits of sites that host sexually explicit videos so much that it's untenable as an industry. Most of the atrocities of porn are done in the pursuit of easy money, just make it were theres no monetary gain from porn.

There would absolutely be a blackmarket but that wouldn't be as accessible to minors as things are now and the IRS can have fun arresting gooners. The problem would be drawing the line on certain things, like does a movie or game with a sex scene get taxed as porn.

I also feel many of you have fallen to hubris because trump is in office during his revenge tour, forgetting in under four years it could be anyone else with god knows what for an agenda, this is ignoring trump being a total wild card who could levy heavy censorship himself
mfw people make the same point I got ripped apart for months ago

All you have to do to win a war with China is break the firewall and set up a gambling site where you gamble upon military operation success. The chinks will inevitably leak sensitive info because chinks make bossman look like a fuckin nun.

Edit: The self deportation should exclusively send them to Davos and Geneva. Hell I'd pay extra taxes willingly to fly the blackest most violent gorilla niggers to Klaus Shwabs personal abode.

TL;DR: Who even knows, but I don't need an engineering degree to tell you that a dam shouldn't look like that with only a difference of a couple of decades in between unless they fucked something up somewhere between the blueprint phase and the "It's finished" phase. And even in gloss over official speak they've not been murmering anything good about the thing.
I am purely going off from memory, but doesn't google satelites take a picture of the earth in the form of a giant strip around the globe, and then re-stitch it back together to form the final image? I could imagine that any minor changes in the satelitte could introduce some artifacts into the final image.

Not to say that google wouldn't play ball for the CCP, they absolutely would, and anyone worth their salt should not believe the numbers the CCP puts out, but I can see how the final image might warp to create something like that. It doesn't explain why they're using the same image of the dam on two different snapshots of the area, maybe there is something they're trying to cover up, but also maybe winnie the pooh asked Google to get rid of it because it makes them look bad, even if its a nothingburger in the end. its all speculation at the end of the day, but I could see them doing that.
You ever been in a tall skyscaper during a windstorm bud?
Dams are not skyscrapers + google AI is the best LLM saars

That's why you set an objective standard in court that can be amended.
But what's objective? What's the scientific method for determining whether or not something counts as pornographic? Anything that causes arousal? Anything that someone can use to gratify themselves sexually? What's the standard? How do you determine this objectively?

I just want to point out that the USDEA considers weed to be Schedule 1 (most potential for abuse, no medicinal qualities) and meth to be Scedule 2 (High potential for abuse, some medicinal qualities).
But I'm sure the courts will be must more oBjEcTiVe when it comes to porn.

If you want to kill porn literally all you have to do is actually apply prostitution law logically. How the fuck does paying someone to have sex with you become legal because you film it? I can't sell someone heroin then film it and all of a sudden it's legal. If anti prostitution law was applied correctly all pornographers would be locked up for life.

There is a shared objective reality. My concern is what standard would be set by institutions that could cause unnecessary damage, just like the example @Day of the Cope brought up with how they classify drugs. Only retards and lawyers would have a hard time telling if something is or isn't pornographic.

I find it funny you're using the ESRB as an example, considering it does fuck-all for gaming. Parents still wound up buying their kids Conker's Bad Furr Day on the N64, so it was useless then as it is now.
The point is that it's an institution that sets a standard on how a products content is defined. Your Dad still buying you GTA is unrelated to me saying a product defined as porn would be taxed for 500%

Then they'd just make black market porn, if you tax them into oblivion.

Prostitution is mostly illegal and it being illegal hasn't stopped it from being a massive industry

The annual revenue of prostitution in the US is estimated to be around $14.6 billion

In 2023, estimates for the porn industry ranged from $58 billion all the way to $287 billion.

The massive prostitution industry is dwarfed by porn, at least in regards to America.

if the porn industry doesn't self-regulate then I'd bet major bucks that everyone involved is gonna lose in some way. I'd really prefer the industry Disappearing into the void, But I simply don't trust Washington to not draft a dual-purpose act made to further deanonymize the internet (and also regulate pornography too).
I'm honestly not super well versed on this subject either way, just my two cents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
