there's two tests that always must be done with any policy or decision:
1. Will this survive first contact with Niggers, Jeets, Chinks, Rednecks and Jews?
2. Would the left be able to abuse the shit out of this by twisting it around to something they want to force everyone to do?
If this is the standard that you use 100% of the time then nothing gets done because the left can and
will exploit anything and everything. Every policy that's ever existed can be twisted by the left, they've been doing it for over a hundred years.
The problem with the whole excuse of "regulating or banning anything leads to a slippery slope of problems" for not doing anything is that we are already on a very slippery slope of problems from certain things not being regulated or banned. Things are actively going wrong and it needs to be fixed and Libertarians complaining about "muh small government" don't offer any solutions, they just want to feed the problems the US has.
You can easily argue that banning children from undergoing gender surgery or banning men from playing in women's sports is an overreach of the government and enforcing laws such as that is "big government" instead of "muh small government" but most people are perfectly fine with banning such things anyway because it's generally understood that it's harmful to the population.
"But what about muh gun rights?" most murders from gun violence or any mass shooting are committed by people using illegally attained firearms anyway, much less of these crimes are committed by legal gun owners. Gun control doesn't make sense and there isn't any data that supports gun control even being effective so that won't work here, it's not even a comparable issue.
When it comes to porn I think at the very least it should be illegal to make money from any pornographic content or actions. "But muh small government!!!" Well prostitution is already illegal and the only difference between prostitution and porn is that porn is much more harmful so go fuck yourself. The same thing applies for harmful food ingredients that corporations pump into US food to save money. If it's harmful to people then it should be banned and it doesn't take a mega government to enforce such laws.
Children are getting exposed to porn online at a far more rapid rate than before the internet exists, in fact it's actually impossible to avoid running into some porn if you are on the internet and every child is on the internet. The mainstream pretty much glorifies women making careers off of OnlyFans as feminist heroes and more and more young girls are ruining their lives trying to be the next big e-porn star and if you think society isn't conditioning sexual activity into children at younger ages than natural you would be wrong. Children are taught to "explore their sexual identities" in kindergarten in some states. Something needs to be done about it and whining about "muh small government" isn't going to fix these issues.
People are getting sick from eating the toxins pumped into their foods by companies they thought they could trust to, ya know, not poison them. Something needs to be done about it and I don't give a shit about Libertarians whining about it. Libertarians had their chance and they had me at one point in history but they decided to go down a path of defending faggotry, degeneracy and harming society instead of coming up with real solutions to real issues so you lost me.
Fear mongering about what could happen if such poisons were banned from society doesn't work when a good half of society is already scared about what's coming in the future with these poisons being left to spread with no control.
