They probably have a limited pool of influencers they can draw from. There’s no point drawing from right-wingers, because their audiences are probably already on side. But most left-wingers are anti. I saw this yesterday but couldn't confirm it until today:
If Brianna is part of this, again I ask, WHY? At best, he will change no one's mind about Israel, and at worst, he will convince people that Israel is full of stupid assholes because they pay scumbags like Brianna Wu.
Wu has the advantage of being (theoretically) left wing and it the perfect combination of arrogant/oblivious/attention-seeking, while having at least some modicum of fame - even if he is, at best, a polarising figure. I don’t doubt that he gave them both barrels of self-aggrandisement.
