Maybe someone who has taken money from people for a game that will never be finished and is not being worked on, should stop trying to tell anyone else how to run their business.
Concord might have been a fucking disaster, but at least they had a finished game.

This is my mindset when I follow this thread. Most of the shit Grummz talks about, in a vacuum, is not bad advice. The problem is, however, that it
comes off as bad advice because
Grummz specifically is saying it, due to not practicing what he preaches.
Kirsche, Asmon, and Grummz's collective take on this I actually do agree with. The flops from 2024 lining up with the negative stereotypes Grummz and SideScrollers expout as bad and the ones that they
do like happening to be successful, even if just trends of the day. It's hard not to conflate correlation with causation in situations such as that when they have a pretty accurate track record. Concord was basically the "Anti-GamerGate2" game, and it crashing after less than two weeks, despite a $400mil budget over 7 years of development, is peak "
" moment .
But that doesn't excuse the fact that
Grummz still has not finished his game.
The character designs for Concord all suck, especially the women. But
Grummz hasn't even added a new goon pic to his game in months.
The Gameplay for Concord was boring by-the-numbers slop, but
Grummz's game demo is still an unplayable buggy WIP.
The Concord IP is dead after only 2 weeks of existing, but
Mark Kern gave so few shits about Em-8er that he let a troll snag the copyright for the title because HE DIDN'T EVEN FILE A COPYRIGHT FOR THE PROJECT. Legally speaking, EM-8ER NEVER EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
With Asmongold, he's at least popular enough where his clout can sway
some people, and despite how much of a politisperg she is, Kirsche at least is true to her beliefs and is willing to expout that nothing she says matters if her true-and-honest fans don't even bother to act on it.
Grummz has actively siphoned from GamerGate since the beginning to scam people of money and, like a tick with malaria, has only left negative health benefits towards it's longevity.
It's why I rant about him trying to be the "saviour" of video games so much. Like I said before, I believe the core message of GamerGate2 (to get the troonslop out of big gaming) and want it to succeed, but Mark Kern actively harms the movements he takes charge of by virtue of
being Mark Kern. It's why I so desperately want SideScrollers and Kirsche to come to their senses and kick him to the curb. His presence is so negative, it actively hurts theirs by guilt of association. Unfortunately, I know that
won't happen because he managed to weasel his way into their good graces and make them his friends. It's hard to abandon a friend who you think has been there for you, even when it's more than likely he's only there to use you as a stepping stone.
My only hope is that this "Debbi-chan part 2" expose that faggot journalist is cooking up is sensibly-writen enough to focus on his actual issues and not somehow A-log him harder than this thread already does. If it's actually serious "cancel material" like hiring an underage prostitute or spending Em-8er money on a trip to Epstein island, it might be the only thing that will get them to finally fucking dump this urchin.
That or his "fans" finally getting the balls to file a class-action lawsuit against him for scamming them, but even I know they're too Stockholme'd to try that.
