I do think one thing preventing that is that there's legitimately no tort in play and the only way for there to be the appearance of some tort would be for Greer to lie about/forge evidence. A lawyer telling people "Yeah just lie to the court" feels like it has to be punishable in some way even if they're not officially representing the person and there's no way if Greer got pressed on who told him to do that that he'd be able to keep it a secret regardless of whether it was covered by some kind of privilege. Blaming someone else for his fuckups is his opening move even when it's 100% his fault so an actual person who's actually at fault would be exposed before the question was even finished
