In my playthrough of the first LiS, Max told her friend to fuck off multiple time, kissed a guy towards the ending when the blue haired chick wasn't there anymore, and proceeded to be saved by the chud father in law who said chick tried to sell me as the bad guy all along. Maybe I took all the right options, but other than the unavoidable liberal campus setting, I seem to have dodged all this wokeness.
I refused to play every sequel and prequel though, because I could see from the promotion alone, they were all just culture war appeasing products.

I've also seen the insane witch hunts in YA where crazy women try to destroy the careers of newcomers because they are the wrong race and can't be allowed to write about (insert race of characters in book here). It's where the idea started that for example voice actors have to match race of the character they're voicing, because otherwise you're doing black face and stealing jobs from underprivileged peoples.

And about the jews? There's jewish side quests, a jew calls you goy, you defend a synagogue, etc. It's a lot!

Ie the idea that you can socially engineer a better society by writing how you want the world to be. The implication being that people who disagree are evil. For everyone to feel included you now have to add as many races as possible, the whole gender and sexuality spectrum, cripples and so on. They were terrified of their audiences, clearly walking on eggshells when discussing inclusivity, diversity and so on. One wrong word and it would be a PR nightmare. Beta readers made sense. The sensitivity readers are totalitarian ideology shit.

The reason the jewish question is upsetting in KCD2 is because the inclusion makes no sense. It's a "why the fuck is this here?" kind of moment. Of course the lead writer of the project is jewish, so maybe it shouldn't be surprising given how many jewish game writers keep adding jew characters or elements into their games like Last of Us 2, Bioshock, etc. Yes of course it seems retarded to go on and on about jews. But it's a recurring symptom of dogshit writing. A sequel to a beloved game gives the audience of the first game the finger, the sequel also features a synagogue for no apparent reason.
