If anything, it'll be like how Clara got her own thread on TVA. For a while there, people were constanly posting her roommate political spregouts in the Phase general thread and it got so grating to read through because they were posted so frequently.

spending 21 pages whinging about him does the same thing while putting a spotlight on him in front of people who would otherwise never even know he exists (giving him more attention than a thread ever would). We even have a whole thread on making fun of just retards in the community already.

This whole thing is literally the most generic culture war slop. It's not "eating into vtubing" because the average vtuber doesn't engage with this shit (in corpos they're even made to not engage with it) What's happening to Kirsche is the same slapfight that is happening with every other content creator that leans on political content for as much of a waste of human life Bint or the people writing these vice articles about her are. Okay but seriously, if you don't like political discussions being part of vtubing discource then that's a perfectly fine position to hold, but Kirsche is an indie variety streamer and has been a Vtuber for almost 7 years. Video games, memes, politics, news, what have you, are all part of her brand and have been for years and none of this has been an issue until like 2 years ago.

The only people "dragging the culture war into vtubing" are the people actively seeking out politicaly inclined vtubers already in the space and making everything they say a controversy. Kirsche only ever kept to her own little niche beyond the occasional collab, she ain't Nux Taku where controversies and drama are the only reason he even has an audience.

I don't usually watch a lot of JP streamers because I'm always doing something else when I listen to streams and it's hard for me to follow Japanese when I'm not really focused. EN I can just kinda absorb without getting lost.

Yuu is pretty fun, if she weren't that deep into FPS games I would've oshi'd her. Loki's gaming and yapping streams are comfy too, shame that the tit jiggling is the context for when she's brought up 90% of the time.
