Because there is currently a semi backlash against persons of gender, Fat might be trying to stay ahead of the curve on what the next darling of oppression could be.
That way he can try to angle it as he is being so progressive, that he is ahead of the curve.
I doubt there ever will be a movement like nambla who achieves the level of success with forcing general society to go along with their fetish like Troons have though.
