I have a very simple explanation. Zack has always wanted to work for DC/Marvel Comics and now that he thinks Marvel and DC have "improved" the quality of their books he wants to try and work for them or at the very least get back in their good graces which explains his vitriol towards the Birthday Party Clowns and Drinker.

Of course it's unlikely to happen though not just because of Mark Waid but because of Zack's inability or desire to use Twitter/X or BlueSky due to them being "toxic" and just using the Youtube Community posts on his channel as his only means of open communication.

I'm surprised they are STILL going. It's not really hurting EJ or his company at all and he's still doing better than them. If anything it's hurting them. It's hurting Dick because his own audience is starting to get tired of hearing about it now, and EVS is losing support from pretty much everyone outside his sad club at this point and his recent campaigns show it. It's retarded they even continue if anything they are being laughed at over it, not EJ. You would think they would have taken the hint now, but clearly they didn't. And good luck getting them aware of the facts behind it now.

It's weird that he's even going after That Park Place. The people that run it do have some overlap with G&G, FNT, and Eric July. But they aren't that big and they're still sort of on their own island with people that follow the money; Valliant Renegade, Mexican Ironman, and a few others. People that understand financials.

I suppose he's just looking for new targets since the ones he's been going after are mostly ignoring him. At this rate, I am guessing he'll start going after Pop Culture Crisis (and maybe Tim Pool) soon if this doesn't work out for him.

EDIT: ha, Just noticed he's going after Thinking Critical now too.

Am thinking it's more him thinking he has to be a massive contrarian. Perhaps it worked for him early on because comics were going down a stupid path. But now he's shifting targets and going after commentators and whatnot. Doesn't matter their opinion. If they say they like or dislike something. He'll most likely go the opposite way. Perhaps he determined hating comics wasn't giving him the views like they used to and started watching what EVS is doing thinking it could work for him. For instance, I don't watch Zack very often, but the times I do I have noticed him saying stuff that EVS would say. Hibbity jibbity for one. Although I suppose it's possible that isn't new for him. But the first time he said it it made me think he's listening to EVS since it seems like a lot of his followers have been parroting it a lot to the point that some are trying to make it a hashtag.

It's all hyperboled and performative at this point.....I can tell by the way they're acting, and the narratives they come up with. He's also upset it sold and made more than his book did. Keeping something in demand for over 2 years isn't going to make anyone look successful, ESPECIALLY when people already know how much it made when it officially ended. It's RIGHT on the campaign. It didn't sell or make more when the campaign officially ended...not like he wants to believe.
